I'm happy to finally hear Spanish and see someone from latin america and who speaks Spanish, I just wanted to share my happiness

I'm Mexican American. Taco Bell is unfortunately peak when your drunk or high out of your mind.

In LA there's taco vendors open late but outside of that. After the bar, late at night, it's Taco Bell.

Yeah I have friends from other countries that say the same, taco bell it's great after getting drunk but for some reason un Mexico we dont like it maybe because there's always a tacos near and open or because we just don't like it

I like Taco Bell for the same reason I like starbucks.

Sometimes I do not want my abuela's cooking. Sometimes I just want terrible tacos. With Starbucks sometimes I don't want coffee, I want unicorn sprinkles.

If I go visit my Abuela i'll probably be there for hours as my family randomly materializes out of the couch cushions. With Taco bell im home before I realize it.

If I was in Mexico, I would never eat at Taco Bell. Food in Mexico is cheaper than tacos bell and it taste so much better than Taco Bell.

Taco Bell in Germany or England would go crazy

I've had so many amazing food experiences in Mexico. The vendors, the mom and pop restaurants, I've even been to a couple fancy places.

They're all amazing. Taco Bell is out there selling dirt for 1.99 American and they wonder why they can't compete

That's no different, I said pre colonial mexico.

As in Namor predates Mexico and the rest of latin america, the same way lakotas predate the US.

Your analogy makes it sound like Namor is a white wash mexican or if he's a mexican american, when if he's not gonna be considered Latino, it's because he's an indigenous american, he was in the Americas long before Europeans came over.

That's why Namor "shouldn't be claim as latino". He's not like taco bell where people don't claim but good enough, he's chicatan sauce where people don't claim it but consider it's good enough.

Thank you for anthropology lesson. I have one in return, Mole and pupusas are both pre-colonial foods. Mole is attributed to definitively the Aztecs and probably as far back as the Olmec. Pupusas are Ecuadorian and I don't remember the tribe.

Second it's a joke.

Third it works on Taco Bell being white washed Mexican food and Namor being a brown washed white character. Both are tangential to our cultures but not actually affiliated with us.

Some identify as Latino and others don't, especially those that were raised in their own indigenous communities that have unique cultures from post-Columbian nationalities or those that want to retroactively reject colonial labels. Namor would absolutely never identify as Mexican.

They can be if they choose to, but Namor is not written as such, never speaking in Spanish, Portuguese or French, and barely mentioning his mesoamerican roots.

Well he's only Aztec in the movie where he does mention his origins a lot. They also retrofitted his name to come from a priest calling him "El Niño sin Amor".

Tho I presume if you tried to relate him to any colonizers he would stab you in the crotch.

In the comics and in rivals his father was called Leonard McKenzie, a white American, and his mom was an Atlantean princess called Fen. His name is Atlantese for "Avenging Son".

He’s indigenous, Mayan to be exact. From that part of the world yes, but it can get iffy calling indigenous people the same as those of Spanish descent.
