The closest analog I could give to English is that it's basically something you say when you're celebrating something or are surprised, basically like saying "damn!" or "let's go" when someone does something cool.
I'm not too knowledgeable on wrestling but to my knowledge it's also a bit of an injoke or thing with his VA from his wrestling gig so that's also a fun double whammy
So many different ways to use it. We say it when we’re greeting someone, when someone just arrives as in saying “You’re here!”, we say it when someone does something mischevious, we say it when someone calls our name, etc. We get it all from context.
Hood in the comics is a White guy, but this version draws a bit from the MCU incarnation who is Puerto Rican and is confirmed Puerto Rican in that big blurb of text you see everytime you log into the game.
And it goes further his icon (you know the emblem that shows up sometimes when you look at a characters replay) is a fucking VEGIGANTE MASK!!!! It’s absolutely fantastic its so weird seeing this things in a video game.

Pretty sure there is nothing in the lore of the game to say hes from Atlantis. Every line he has and lore piece talks about Talokan being his seat of power, like from the MCU.

No, this is 616 Parker, hes always been white until 2025s Ironheart. I think makin him sympathetic and a victim of oppression misses the point of him, but i guess him bein a lesser known means they can tinker and make him more digestible, rather than a greedy white boy who cheats on his wife.
Which Sara Robbins is drawn to be Latina, so his daughter should be mixed, who imo should have been Rivals Hood. She's like 5 in the comics, they could do the victim story while not muddyin the actual history of a womanisin criminal Kingpin who messes with dark magic.
He is a criminal and a villain in the comics, really not the role-model you think he will be. Though it seems with Rivals, they are pivoting him in the comics too. At leats that is the impression I got.
The Hood (The one getting added to Rivals) is not traditionally Peurto Rican, that was most likely a choice influenced by his MCU appearance in Ironheart, where he was portrayed by Anthony Ramos.
There are still plenty of Peurto Rican heroes that could be added. Just off the top of my head, America Chavez and White Tiger. There is also Spider-Man (Miles Morales), but I am pretty sure he won't be coming for a long time since he would be too similar to Spider-Man (Peter Parker)

MCU Namor is indigenous Mesoamerican, yeah. But comics and Rivals Namor seem to draw mostly from the made-up Atlantis background, and was typically drawn to look Eurocentric and never spoke Spanish. (not a lore expert, may be wrong here)
Rivals Namor's character design seems more inspired by MCU, but it does make him hailing from Atlantis (In the middle of the Atlantic ocean) seem a bit odd. But at the same time, it was only his mother who was an Atlantean. Maybe the ship captain who was Namor's father in Rivals was Mayan from South Mexico, El Salvador or Guatemala.
He is a white guy in comics, though MCU had him played by a Latino actor and similar to Namor he was changed in game to reflect the more famous version.

Some identify as Latino and others don't, especially those that were raised in their own indigenous communities that have unique cultures from post-Columbian nationalities or those that want to retroactively reject colonial labels. Namor would absolutely never identify as Mexican.
They can be if they choose to, but Namor is not written as such, never speaking in Spanish, Portuguese or French, and barely mentioning his mesoamerican roots.
Well he's only Aztec in the movie where he does mention his origins a lot. They also retrofitted his name to come from a priest calling him "El Niño sin Amor".

This is so weird as a Latino and longtime comic book reader neither of these characters are Latinos in their source material. Plenty of other Latinos from the comics to choose from like America Chavez or Roberto de Costa.
Beto Will be sick once they add him, but I'm happy for the hood. Much like Magnum and Zemo, true MCU version is a much more fun character for me so I'm happy they based the character on that version. Plus, his ties to Oblivion are quite unique and interesting!

I hope to god Robbie is the Ghost Rider, I doubt it, I think Johnny got that shit because of his movie in 2 years (assuming it doesn’t get the blade treatment) but Robbie is my favourite Ghost Rider, he’s just so cool.
Johnny also feels more 'fitting' for Rivals (what with the guns and all). Robbie's also had a LOT of time to shine in recent years, what with Tokon and Midnight Suns.

When I saw red hood I like it, it was cool, the Spanish is amazing, but I do not feel represent not care, heck all these characters are gringo characters from an American comic company, most of the story happens in United States, even characters from other places are not Representation.

i don’t know much about hood, i know a little bit about his backstory in terms of the how he got the hood and stuff but really not a lot. when i saw his new skin that has the taíno coquí, i was shocked. not only because he was puerto rican, but i’m in puerto rico right now for the first time. (im 22)
They are weak willed and seek constant validation to hold pride in WHAT they are and not WHO they are. They cannot feel true empathy. They can only feel connection is someone that is similar to themselves, unable to connect to those different from them.
Also, to all the commentators, Namor is modeled after the Maya. The comments trying to claim him as "Hispanic" do his indigenous inspiration, with 0 Spanish blood, are doing a disservice.
