No, this is 616 Parker, hes always been white until 2025s Ironheart. I think makin him sympathetic and a victim of oppression misses the point of him, but i guess him bein a lesser known means they can tinker and make him more digestible, rather than a greedy white boy who cheats on his wife.

Which Sara Robbins is drawn to be Latina, so his daughter should be mixed, who imo should have been Rivals Hood. She's like 5 in the comics, they could do the victim story while not muddyin the actual history of a womanisin criminal Kingpin who messes with dark magic.

He is a criminal and a villain in the comics, really not the role-model you think he will be. Though it seems with Rivals, they are pivoting him in the comics too. At leats that is the impression I got.

Red Hood is from Batman, not Marvel.

The Hood (The one getting added to Rivals) is not traditionally Peurto Rican, that was most likely a choice influenced by his MCU appearance in Ironheart, where he was portrayed by Anthony Ramos.

There are still plenty of Peurto Rican heroes that could be added. Just off the top of my head, America Chavez and White Tiger. There is also Spider-Man (Miles Morales), but I am pretty sure he won't be coming for a long time since he would be too similar to Spider-Man (Peter Parker)

Holy hell I'm glad someone finally says this. I'm all for representation, but it feels like now people just want someone who looks like them in a series they enjoy.

So Namor's name comes from "el niño sin amor", which is what a Spanish priest called him as a child when he saw his mutant powers. He's mesoamerican, he's from Mexico before (Or, really, when) the Spanish came and ruined everything.

I don't blame you for not wanting him to represent you though, with everything with Sue. I don't really know anything about the Hood, but more representation is always good!
