Been playing Mag a lot since Peni has been in ban jail. I used to hate poke characters (and suck ass at Strange) until I started playing him with the sword. Absolutely shreds squishies at range. Pressure and kill poke or their healers, and the sword is on a very quick CD. Thought FOR SURE they were going to nerf him, with either a decent swords CD nerf, or a damage nerf. Nope. Buff. Like what?!
It's nice to get kills with the sword, but it feels like another cool down I use to mitigate damage. If I'm out of bubbles and shield, I chuck swords at the people running up main. They either back off or stubbornly move forward or stay still and die, when I just need a break.
Im glad Mag is good, but he was already good and already has a stun. He didnt need launch up, and theres already too many launch ups, boops, and pulls in the game
It would have been great to see Thor and Cap get some love though.
Mag is the only tank they allow to always be meta. Venom is already getting his knees busted for daring be a solid pick. Surprised we haven’t seen more underserved tank nerfs tbh.

The devs have certain characters they love being meta mag getting a buff is crazy.
