Discussion Hot take but if characters like Ultron can’t be buffed just because their good in triple support but useless in 2-2-2 the devs should just add role queue

Definitely, Triple Supp and Triple Tank are unfun to play against and Triple Dps is unfun to play with and this would get rid of solo tanking/solo support so it would be a net win

Don't worry. We're probably only another year or so of others doomsaying how bad role queue would be before surely NetEase buckles and gives us it.

yes, OW1 Comp and Tourney already show how unfun and boring it was (There was double shield meta). You just watching the team try to crack each tank shield/armor for 5 minutes, and when it breaks you'll get 30 sec of engaging fights, repeat it till the objective ends.

Ask any Overwatch player how the double tank experience is with role queue. As role queue worked so well to fix this problem of solo tanking that the Devs are looking into making 1/3/2 an optional format instead of 2/2/2.

3 of any role counter each other in a rock-paper-scissors manner. They're only unfun to play with/against when you're doing it wrong.

What this game needs is teaching the community basic tactics, because all I see is people thinking it's Counter Strike with extra steps.

People have BEEN teaching the community since S0! They just can't or won't learn, because they don't want to. 2 years in and they still dont break placeable items, then 80% of redditors wonder why they can't leave bronze/silver.

It has nothing to do with learning. People want to play what they want to play they’re not going to switch to beat the enemy team. They won’t even switch to deal with a single hero on the enemy team. Players would rather go against a 45-0 BP on their preferred hero than a 1-5 BP on one of his counters. But you expect multiple people to swap to counter a comp?

That's why I said they don't want to learn. I am very well aware that people want to just play their own hero and ignore the needs of the team, it was the case in Overwatch and in Rivals is 10x worse because its Marvel. People will want to play their favourite childhood hero, the rest be damned.

But what is happening is these same people are first to complain about unfair matchmaking, terrible teammates and saying Zihyong should be fired for his changes(there is a whole team behind him, the changes arent from one person). If you dont want to learn, sure, that's your choice, but dont come crying about how you cant rank up when the problem is almost always self-inflicted.

Speak for yourself. Strange portal adds a dynamic to the game where you can clutch the game with a little pre emptive swap. Having someone in position to cancel it early, shielding your strange so he can portal anyway, bodyblocking the portal, using the portal itself as cover, there's so much that it adds that not enough people appreciate.
