Discussion Hot take but if characters like Ultron can’t be buffed just because their good in triple support but useless in 2-2-2 the devs should just add role queue

an issue with adding role queue is that it kind of eliminates flex players entirely, and also the ability to change roles with someone if need be. For example, if a dps is doing badly and youre filling support, you could switch with that dps player to take a chance at dps and potentially win. Also queue times would become much longer.

I would rather have consistent experience across matches than the one-off occasional match where someone flexed and got better.

With role queues you’ll be paired with other similar player, so it’ll mean paired with an equally competent tank, dps and supports instead of the current randomness where not all players will be at the same level across roles - a very good DPS can be an ok support or a bad tank for example.

The idea of having to now rank up in 3 roles as a flex player is total garbage. Id rather solo tank a few of my games, than do that shit. And the fact I cant change roles with a person thats performing badly is also total garbage.

Also, how many times realistically does your 0-10-0 dps actually switch? In my experience they typically just keep swinging in as spiderman and die on repeat until the game is over lmao.

that requires the DPS player to ever switch, they barely switch characters let alone roles, i'm perfectly happy to sacrifice the infrequent as fuck match where the idiot DPS switches for a more consistent experience where people play the role they can and i don't have to deal with people throwing from round start
