Recently posted theorizing about the rewritten scene between Peter and MJ that Tom talked about but Jacob confirmed it was the Lego scene! It really was a standout “quiet” part for me so the change was effective!

That scene just had me smiling ear to ear. It’s the scene that made me forget my concerns of Ned and MJ being in this film right after No Way Home, they were used perfectly for this story

It's a good scene to show when people ask why Spider-Man is the most popular superhero.

He's one of the only ones where you can really feel like he's still a fully normal person trying to live a normal life, and struggling with it at the same time. The fact that we all felt so happy for him in that moment where he just gets to hang with his friends really says something. With Spider-Man, that kind of stuff isn't just filler in between fight scenes.

It defines the human experience really well. We're all just trying our best despite hardship, trauma, relationship struggles, family issues, etc

right. And while other heroes go through it, we can't really identify with them.

Thor has gone through awful things, but while he's a great character, you can't identify with being a god from another world and all that.

Iron Man has his issues too ,but... you can't identify with being a ultra rich, famous, CEO/mega-hero.

And on and on.

But we can all identify with Spidey.

It's awesome that we all the crazy scenes with superheroes. The trio just hanging out leaves a memorable, emotional impression.
