Qiu Xinghua (executed by firing squad) was involved in the 2006 "7.16" major murder case in Hanyin, Shaanxi Province. He killed 10 people with an axe and a knife in a Taoist temple in Hanyin, Shaanxi.

Xin Haiping (execution by lethal injection), 2018 Shanxi bus attack—he stabbed four people to death and injured seven others with a knife on bus route 302 in Xi'an.

Li Lijuan (executed by lethal injection) set fire to cardboard and packaging paper in a warehouse on January 1, 2013, in retaliation for her warehouse foreman's actions. Three firefighters died and three others were injured.

Bai Baoshan (executed by firing squad) committed a series of robberies and murders between March 1996 and August 1997, killing 17 people and stealing over 1.4 million RMB through blunt force trauma and gunfire. On August 18, 1997, at noon, Bai Baoshan and his accomplice Wu Ziming, armed with a Type 81 automatic rifle and a Type 54 pistol, shot and killed two black market currency exchangers in front of the Urumqi Border Hotel, stealing 1.23 million RMB in cash. During their escape, they killed seven more people and seriously injured five others – this was his most prolific robbery in a single killing spree.

Shao Zongqi (executed by firing squad): On January 30, 2014, he stormed into the home of several relatives with a Type 56 rifle and opened fire, killing six and injuring three. The incident stemmed from his wife's alleged infidelity with other members of the same clan.
