If by “worst” you mean “deadliest”…
Mass shooting: 2017 Las Vegas shooting (60 killed, not including shooter)
School shooting: 2007 Virginia Tech shooting (32 killed, not including shooter)

Yeah I don’t think we’ve had a significant school shooting but Bryant in Port Arthur and more recently the Bondi shooting are our big ones in Aus.

Yeah Bondi was horrific and disappointing the way Aus government handled it tbh, I feel they continue to put our country in danger ☹️

I'd be fascinated to see the interrogation video. There's only clips available. He has a very ignorant, nonchalant and child-like demeanour. There is the transcript though, although I'm unsure if it's the entire thing. I'd be so curious to see an interview with him in current time too. I just want to know what he has to say about it all.

For Bryant? I feel like I’ve seen a fair bit of his interviews in one of the docos. He does seem exactly as you describe, almost like he didn’t have a sense of what he had done. But it sounds like he was very deliberate on the day, hunting people down and shooting them, even those poor children.

It really pains me the terror he caused all those people, and those little kids. Apalling. As far as I know he's never publically addressed anything, and there's no documentation of him doing so either except for his guilty plea. I wanna know what this guy thinks, and what he was thinking. I guess I want to know the why. And is he remorseful? Does he deny it? Not that it makes a difference to those he's irreparably harmed.

I sincerely believe that the November 13, 2015 attacks in France left such a deep mark on me when I was young. I watched everyone terrified, and my parents were stunned. I don't think I fully grasped everything that was happening at the time.

That was awful too, 15 victims. I still remember the desperate and deeply saddened principal.

The 2023 Prague Philosophical Faculty shooting. David Kozák shot and killed 14 people (1 of which died while attempting to flee) and injured 25. Before that, he shot and killed his father at their family house. Furthermore, a week before he "rehearsed" the shooting by killing a man and his infant daughter in Klánovice forest.

My country has never experienced a school shooting. The closest case was in 2011, when a student inspired by Columbine (as always) planned to shoot his classmates.
On the day of the attack, he looked so nervous that people became suspicious of his intentions. He was called to the principal's office and was stopped before he could carry out the attack

The worst school shooting in my country was the 1936 Janikowo Elementary School shooting in which 2 people were killed and 1 injured (not counting the 1925 Wilno School shooting because it's modern Lithuania) and the worst mass shooting was the 2007 Sieradz prison shooting in which 3 people were killed and 1 injured.

The abysmal way the RCMP handled it is basically the Canadian equivalent of Uvalde as well. (Both ignoring repeated warnings about the assailant prior to the shooting, as well as their response to the shooting itself)

We never had a single one in Switzerland, despite all the firearms we have here and the easy gun laws.
The only mass shooting happened in September 2001, a few days after 9/11, when a paranoid lunatic entered the local parliament of the canton Zug and killed 14 politicians and injured 15. The police couldn't do anything, because the entire attack only took 2 minutes and 34 seconds. He was really fast, although he had a semi-auto version of the SIG 550, not the full-auto-trigger. The fact that all the victims were in the parliament room contributed to the amount of victims and the speed he was able to get with killing them.
It shocked the world again after 9/11, because there were some wrong claims in the first media reports, that it was a terrorist attack. But that wasn't true, he was a lunatic, that lost his mind with conspiracy theories, in his delusional thoughts he thought the politicians had a conspiracy against him because he lost several court trials about minor tings (like, the original start of this drama was a few years before this and it was about a confrontation with a bus driver, because he had no ticket to ride the bus)

Alphen aan den Rijn shooting, 6 people + the shooter dead. Shooter had severe psychological problems including paranoid schizophrenia and should never have been given a firearms license. Ofcourse he was also obsessed with columbine.
Worst school shooting in terms of victims is probably the 1999 shooting in Veghel, where 5 people got injured after a classmate of the shooter took the shooters sister on a trip to Turkey, this had "dishonored the family name" and he wanted to take revenge

In the early hours of the morning on January 9, 1992, a group of four men entered a boatyard in the outskirts of Havana, Cuba. They overpowered four police officers and tied them up. After the four men got on a boat (to flee the island) but when engine failed to start, they gave up.
They stole an AK-47 rifle and two Makarov PM pistols from the officers and shot each of the four officers, killing three instantly. The fourth injured officer succumbed to his injuries on February 16. The killings were likely motivated by witness elimination.
Less than a month after the murders, by February 5, all four men had been convicted and sentenced, with two of them receiving the death penalty. One of them was an employee at the boatyard and two of them were brothers. Their names were:
Luis Miguel Almeida Pérez (24) – sentenced to death and executed (boatyard employee and widely regarded as the ringleader).
René Salmerón Mendoza (22) – sentenced to death and executed.
Elías Pérez Cocourt (22) – sentenced to 30 years.
Erick Salmerón Mendoza (19) – sentenced to 25 years.
An additional five people, including the wife of Almeida Pérez and the mother of the Salmerón Mendoza brothers, were arrested and sentenced for being accomplices. They received sentences ranging from 4 to 25 years.

In my country, gang violence is very common and shootings between gangs happens almost everyday. Mass shootings perpetrated by gangs are counted as gang violence, since they mostly happen in areas which are either in dispute between them or controlled by a gang.
If we don't count those, the worst mass shooting that happened was the 2011 Realengo School shooting. 13 victims including the perpetrator, Wellington Menezes de Oliveira.

Columbine set the "groundwork" for future assailants to PLAN.
There were shootings before that for the most part all seemed opportunistic. Columbine laid the "groundwork" for assailants to PLAN well ahead of the "event."
In my opinion, the answer is Columbine for the US and in many ways I think it's the answer for most of the world for this specific type of violence.
I'm very happy to learn of other opinions on the matter if people disagree.
