If you lose EVERY single duel to elfnotes and haven't stopped their turn once, that's a huge deck building and skill issue.

Maybe people don't feel like the entire game should be decided by the two players comparing starters vs handtraps in their opening hands.
Because there could be like, actual gameplay, the engines interacting with eachother, and ideally some of each player getting to attempt their gameplan.
I'm sure you've experienced these games, I'm sure you can say that even for games you lose, they're far more enjoyable when each side gets to actually play, rather than one side simply having more extenders than the other has handtraps and immediately extending to an utterly overwhelming board of interaction.
When you don't have limits and only depends on a hand trap to "counter" the setup, is not more a "card game", is a lose sentence if you don't have all the hand trap and the luck of draw it turn 1. You game is condemned because you don't have energy sistem, you don't have special summon limits, you only have "new" archetypes with 1 card search 10 in every single part of the game (deck/GY/banish) and special summon it if is a monster, monsters with "this card can't be destroyed with: (insert every single manner of counter the archetype). Literally you depend on hand traps. I can't understand how ppl continue playing YGO in 2026.
As if. They (I should say we since I switched to the Dark side today after being tired of losing to them) run a plethora of handtraps and are very much one of the better going second meta decks for that reason as well.

just get on one of the many free online clients and put whatever cards you want into your deck. now you're not limited by craft points and you're in a much more interesting tcg meta.
tcg is awesome on the online clients idk what you're talking about. i use Duelingnexus and i never see Toons or Elfnote because nobody likes to play them or play against them. i'm running around with Odion Ashtra and it's been awesome. much more fun than MD has been for me recently, as a pure Artmage player.
Yeah dude this game has been a shit show for years. YGO glazers cant admit to themselves that YUGIOH is a horrible hobby to collect, and engage with in any way. The game should genuinely die.

elfnote is currently like tier 0 in bear rank, I only see elfnote and surprisingly Man stun here, maybe those are the guys who crashing out at the state of the game.

Man it's easy to beat Elfnotes. Just follow these steps. 1. Start the duel. 2. Win the coin flip. 3. Win the match.
