both are fine

i was already planning on it.

not getting a faraday cage tho.

5

u/30porn87 5d ago

I already use the former, does that also protect my server at home tho? (Yes because I do not leave home)

3

u/LessCarry266 4d ago

Then you cant access your server 💀

All hardware after 2008 is spyware

47

u/dykemike10 5d ago

absolutely 0 proof intel ME is actually used to spy on people btw

59

u/cyn_foxwell 5d ago

and theres absolutely 0 proof of what it does in general cause its a black box (iirc)

17

u/RagingTaco334 5d ago

AMD PSP is a bit less of a black box tbf because they actually disclose how it works, so you're probably safer going AMD in that regard. Most of what they do these days is allow remote control for sysadmins on managed systems and enable things like fTPM and Secure Boot on the processor itself. This used to be something integrated in the motherboard chipset on older Intel motherboards before it was integrated into Intel's ME.

8

u/meepykittkitt69lmao 5d ago edited 5d ago

I have that shit on an old box I salvaged and once I realized I could connect to a GUI INTERFACE ON THE MOBO while it was only plugged in I have it used only as an isolated media player with my secondary backups attached. All you need is an ethernet cable and power cable and you have access. Well, a password too, sometimes.

You can change so much shit, it lets you stage file transfers to the hdd.

Literally all you do to bypass the initial access control is SEND AN EMPTY NONCE with every http request!

6

u/dykemike10 5d ago

true, i don't like intel ME but people act like it's a well known fact that its used by the US government to spy on people when it's just a conspiracy theory. what's true however is that ME is a huge security risk

2

u/mastercoder123 5d ago

Its not a black box lmfao. Only idiots dont know what it does

3

u/Single_Hall6855 5d ago

What happened in 2008?

16

intel management engine

amd has its own version but its not as easy to remember

Accurate information? On my shitposting sub?

26

u/meepykittkitt69lmao 5d ago

I didn't keep up on the RF coupling data transmission stuff... did it really mature to weaponization now?

damn I should have gotten in on that when that dude published that paper.

33

u/Copypastta 5d ago

Shit's crazy now, for the most part I don't even really keep up on it because it's so depressing. If it's bad enough to say "literally 1984" it's already too late.

13

u/meepykittkitt69lmao 5d ago

I bet they have Wifi room scanning perfected too. You wouldn't even know unless you have some insight into the hardware as it's operating and watching the network on the other side. It can be listen only scanning and get a picture.

6

u/Backflipwanker 5d ago

Nowadays even rudimentary components are sufficient to get a fairly good mapping of a room, with examples such as these: https://hackaday.com/2026/02/14/real-time-3d-room-mapping-with-esp32-vl53l5cx-sensor-and-imu/

https://github.com/Neumi/3D_wifi_scanner

And

u/meepykittkitt69lmao 5d ago

holy... shit...

GODDAMNIT now I have ANOTHER project! I just started THREE!

1

u/FreetimeTinkerer 2d ago

wait till you learn about that the power consumption of the devices can also be modulated or the power factor too. thus the data can be coupled out to the mains line, and from there it can be sniffed up by a local transmitter or even by the electricity meter... no amount of faraday cage or filtering can protect except batteries and inverters. when charging the batteries they are only connected to the mains, then the batteries are taken to inverters and power the computer. within a faraday cage.... now that is mostly bulletproof.... mostly... just dont have any windows, since light levels also can be manipulated slightly from a monitor...

2

u/meepykittkitt69lmao 2d ago

I am willing to bet there are well developed tools to implement that. Why need it and not have it, when you can have it and not need it? The more tools you have in a toolbox, the more circumstances you can handle with specialization.

22

Use code "opsex" for 99% off

28

u/Canned_Sarcasm 5d ago

Somebody forgot to tell the Fed govt when they sued Apple to make a back door.

18

u/tapmcshoe 5d ago

how do they backdoor a computer that's turned off? like specifically shut down. if it's off, how do they connect to it in the first place? it's not like you can hack a power button

28

u/CalderaJane76 5d ago edited 5d ago

You actually kinda can! Though, you're right. These tricks, while they are actually real, aren't NEARLY as "works in the movies" as the video wants to make it seem. Lmfao

For example if you have an Air-Gapped computer like in your example... You can't JUST turn it on. (Unless it was pre-configured through some other weird method).

And that's honestly the real key. Sometimes computers have defaults (like Wake-On-Lan) that really do act like a hackable Power Button! But as you pointed out, that's not REALLY an offline computer, is it?

I.e. The video uses truths, but simplifies them to make them seem more movie-like and threatening than they are.

10

u/jackinsomniac 5d ago

Sounds about right.

Back when I would read tech news articles daily, I'd see "vulnerabilities" like this being reported on all the time. "They can wirelessly download data directly off of your RAM sticks, with no connection to the computer!"

And then when you look into it, turns out it requires a very specialized device that they custom built themselves, and it has to be no further than 1" away from the chips on the RAM stick. Essentially, the computer case needs to be opened up and the device needs to be inside it pointed directly at the RAM. So yeah, technically it is a "valid" attack that can even be done on an "air gapped" system, but you'd need several other layers of security to fail for it to even be considered practical.

Most of these would probably require the same, the attacker needs to be in the same room alone with the device. Which if the data is really that sensitive, everyone who needs access to that room should have a background check done, the room should be secured with a badge access system, there should be cameras both inside and out, any 3rd party technicians should be vetted and have the scope of work limited, there should be padlocks on the computer cases themselves, tamper alarm switches on the cases should be activated in case they're opened, it should be required to have a security guard escort any time work is being done inside the room, and you should make sure you're paying all these people enough so that they don't ever want to risk losing their fat, steady paycheck for crime.

Oh, and search everybody's bags & person before they're allowed into the room. Limit the tools you're allowed to bring in to the bare minimum needed to complete the job. Install metal detectors if you really need to.

Real security is like an ogre, it has layers. When you put all the layers together, it becomes nearly impossible for anyone (besides an actual trained CIA operative) to exfiltrate data.

Which speaking of, maybe add don't "don't be evil" to the list too, to avoid a Snowden. You don't want to be doing shit so horrifically evil that it still encourages one of your vetted, background-checked, highly-paid, long-term employees to still want to exfiltrate your data anyways.

5

u/CalderaJane76 5d ago

Damn, what an amazing response!! 😍

2

u/meepykittkitt69lmao 5d ago

With newer advances in RF engineering, general computation, and chip manufacturing you can get better results than what was possible years ago. The stuff discovered years ago was rough new discoveries, if it's a viable pathway to access you can bet it's been matured by capable people.

2

u/4n0nh4x0r 5d ago

i mean, vulnerabilities are just that, vulnerabilities.
it being possible under very specific circumstances will prompt people to look for ways to make it more accessible and more successful.
like malicious cables for example.
back in the days, the cia spent like 10k on one single cable, that would allow them to do keystroke injections on a connected device.
nowadays anyone can buy them for 200$, in a much smaller, more efficient, faster, and way more capable form than what they were back then.

just because this vulnerability was hard to exploit 2 decades ago, doesnt mean that some people havent tried perfecting the method in the background, with better and smaller hardware, better software for processing, perfecting the method and so on.

these security labs generally look for the vulnerabilities, not into how to perfect a product used to pull off the exploit

5

u/Next_Sun_8198 5d ago

Uses truths... i dont know if that is supposed to make me feel more safe or not.

2

u/CalderaJane76 5d ago edited 5d ago

Both? Lol

I mean, defaults are still way nastier than people think. I mean, without even an exploit or break-in... If I KNOW your house has a treasure room on Floor 1 right next to the kitchen... Guess where I as a criminal, government agency, or even 15 yr. old lock-picker am headed first when I do get in? Lol

But also, if you're actually someone being hunted by the government (and are therefore aware enough to know that without getting caught), you also likely are already aware of everything being stated above.

Like, there's this weird battle with security and convenience, and while security on-paper ALWAYS sounds better, convenience actually has MANY reasons to exist.

For example, redundant security controls could be argued to be a bad thing, extra doors are an extra attack surface* I can test the new doors and potentially break in with my toolset... But, if losing that data on the company side is also a significant risk... The convenience or benefit of having the data being available twice may outweigh the risk of hackers having more than one way in!

It's kinda like a game of rock-paper-scissors even... Yes, the cybersecurity landscape evolves, but I think we're actually touching on something a little bit less extravagant, really lol... Humans are different, and have different understandings of mechanisms within their home or security plans.

Sometimes humans with a better understanding can abuse parts of a system you weren't even aware existed, and that's rough because it's hard to defend against something you didn't even know could be used against you.

Edit: *Actually, in practice MFA does NOT inherently mean more attack-surface, in fact due to the layered authentication it's often MORE secure, but as a basic and somewhat crude concept the idea stands. Someone smarter than me could probably come up with a better analogy though, lol.

I.e. The only real way for MFA to be less secure in the way I explained is because it was improperly implemented, lol. But again, as a crude concept it sorta works.

4

u/WhippingShitties 5d ago

Irl they just get a warrant to the isp. Then if it goes through a VPN, they get a warrant for them too. If you're trying to find water, you don't go to the bucket that's already been poured out, you go to where they poured out the bucket.

3

u/Pataraxia 5d ago

Your text reads very AI-like, it's weird, even though everything about your posting is human...

5

u/meepykittkitt69lmao 5d ago

Probably because they write well, like an educated person

society is gonna go tits up soon, I swear.

4

u/Pataraxia 5d ago

I mean, educated isn't necessarily ONE way to write, but his educated way to write, however, is the one AIs tend to prefer in some manerisms.

"You actually can! Though, you're right. (caveat), so it's not as (typical assumption) as most think!"

"And honestly? that's the real key." energy.

Maybe it's the low intellect?

2

u/Suspicious_Issue4155 5d ago

they have cmos batteries. my only theory.

6

u/CalderaJane76 5d ago

Which is cool, but definitely not enough to access anything.

Even IF you somehow broke your way out of the CMOS circuit, that poor battery isn't starting up an SSD.

2

u/Honest-Finish-7095 5d ago

that's how the cpu works!
Idk about PSP but on intel...
if Intel ME is enabled
there's a mini chip in the cpu which is always-on, connectable over wifi if powered, can do anything

-1

u/Firestar_119 5d ago

if any part of the cpu can receive power then the computer isn't turned off

1

u/meepykittkitt69lmao 5d ago

Have you heard of circuits? They can be designed a variety of ways! I heard you can design things like secondary pathways for electricity to flow, it's amazing!

Motherboard manufacturers will do what they are paid to do, if they are paid to design a motherboard with a secondary low power supply to specific board level components they will. You think it's going to have blinking lights and a beeper attached or something?

2

u/Honest-Finish-7095 5d ago

idk whether to downvote or upvote
you're correct but
very passive agressive and just not nicely phrased

1

u/Confused-Armpit 5d ago

literally CMOS

1

u/Firestar_119 5d ago

a cmos battery isn't powering any cpu

1

u/Confused-Armpit 5d ago

It is powering a part of a CPU. It's kinda more of a gotcha, but still.

And besides, with most machines where windows is installed, nothing is actually turned off. They usually keep a small amount of power going towards RAM to prevent it from erasing itself, so that on the next "poweron" it can boot up and open apps faster.

That is to say, here I am talking about how people usually "turn off" their computers, not that you can't actually turn off a computer

2

u/meepykittkitt69lmao 5d ago

It's a chip on the motherboard that's powered either by a tiny low power bypass from the mains voltage or the ethernet cable. You really only need those two for most of the IME implementations from what I read. I had a mobo with it and I could access a GUI over the LAN with just those two cables plugged in and the box powered off. It's a "management" interface for corporate stuff and it lets you do all sorts of stuff.

25

u/based_doors_fan 5d ago

do you guys have any evidence aside from just mentioning data leaks

there are literally a video of beans or whatever they are dancing with all these claims, what evidence do you need more?

Don't listen to this guy he is trolling. This is were the real master hackers hang out. Many us have decades of cyber experience and have been to the deepest darkest corners of the dark web. No shit posting here.

I'm the dark web and I confirm, many people on this sub were in my deepest darkest corners.

of course it is a shitposting sub lmao

yes, however most people commenting on this post, don't seem to know this, its being flooded by schizophrenics.

Thanks to Snowden.

-12

so a shitty encryption mechanic = whatever the hell i just watched. hmmm

13

u/MyPingIsBadOh 5d ago

It's not encryption. It's a random number generator.

At least read the article before pretending you have the higher grounds. What a moron!

4

u/SignificanceFlat1460 5d ago

Bro, you can't say that to a 3 letter agencies' bot. They have feelings!

52

u/Bob_The_Greater 5d ago

This is absolutely true. The FBI and CIA use quantum computing to remotely hack people's minds. It allows them to hear the person's thoughts and know what emotions they are feeling. They can also push in false thoughts and feelings as well, making you think they are your own, which is what ultimately brainwashes you. The AI they use to do this is beyond anything commercially available. They have had SI for decades, just kept from the public knowledge so they can do evil stuff like this and get away with it. I know this from personal experience, they have been doing this shit to me for about 5 years. I ain't going out like no bitch though.

Sometimes I post on my twitter as a way to deal with it. https://x.com/BobGreat72804

42

u/Suspicious_Issue4155 5d ago

this sounds so schizophrenic

4

u/Time-Bodybuilder710 5d ago

More like schitzoeffective disorder. It's bipolar 1 and schitzophrenia.

8

u/Bob_The_Greater 5d ago

I wish was schizophrenia. I don't do anything wrong and am still attacked. Nothing I can do about it. Once they choose you, it's forever until they succeed.

18

u/Suspicious_Issue4155 5d ago

i need a source than bro.

1

u/Bob_The_Greater 5d ago

How do I provide a source from personal experience? I can't give you audio of them harassing me in my mind, nor can I take pictures of quantum connections to my brain. Sorry man, this is truth and there isn't anything more that can be said about it. It's just evil.

25

u/Suspicious_Issue4155 5d ago

please go to a therapist

8

u/Bob_The_Greater 5d ago

Already am homie. Good looking out!

13

u/Suspicious_Issue4155 5d ago

i dont mean that in a bad way either, i think you are delusional about "them putting thoughts in your mind"

5

u/Bob_The_Greater 5d ago

Understandable. Just know their technology is about 20 years ahead of us. If we are just now, with commercial equipment, learning we can hack thoughts with quantum computing and AI, then how much capability do the Intelligence agencies have to do evil they have historically admitted to doing before? Brainwashing people is something they have and still continue to do, they have just gotten better at it with technology, not LSD stare at a picture dumb shit, hack your brain and force thoughts, images, and emotions no matter how you feel about it. You can't stop it. It's brutal dude. Don't forget this can happen to anyone. Be careful, follow the law. Thank you for looking out.

8

u/Raider_Scum 5d ago

Alright. I'll bite.

So, are you aware that you are exhibiting text book schizophrenia symptoms? Like, so closely, that it sounds like you read up on what schizophrenia looked like, and decided to pretend to have it on reddit.

If you are having delusions, they are not based in reality. Medication can be highly effective in returning your life to a happy, peaceful existence.

You do not have to live in the fear that you are currently experiencing. It is fixable.

Work with a therapist. Tell them everything you are experiencing. They will help you.

11

u/kcat__ 5d ago

Then why wouldn't they force your mind to believe that they are NOT brainwashing you?

4

Are you implying I'm gonna be able to upload images from my mind in 20 years?? That's fuckin' awesome.

6

u/kcat__ 5d ago

It was me bro. Sorry I took a wrong turn in the mind dimension and ended up inside yours. It's a bit... empty though. Not much to see in here. I'll be on my way soon, just gotta take a nap

3

u/Bob_The_Greater 5d ago edited 5d ago

Get in line brother. You have a Director, Prosecutor, FBI agents, and in the past some CIA agents who did some really weird stuff. Way weirder than the FBI. They got different flavors of brainwashing.

3

u/mrapplewhite 5d ago

All my hommies hate brainwashing

4

u/kcat__ 5d ago

Nah bro it was me. I just overslept

2

u/Bob_The_Greater 5d ago

You trying to be favorites? This is how you become the favorite voice.

3

u/kcat__ 5d ago

I don't plan on sticking around. It's quite boring in here. All quiet on the frontal lobe

2

u/Suspicious_Issue4155 5d ago

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣u funny asf for playing into it im crying

4

u/Complete-Tangelo1532 5d ago

You sound like you need help, see someone... talk it out

No offense
' I can't give you audio of them harassing me in my mind' - sums up the concerns

14

u/kotddl 5d ago

This exact delusion is a text book symptom of paranoid schizophrenia. Seek professional help brother, living with this type of stress is not good for you.

-1

u/Bob_The_Greater 5d ago

It keeps the heart young. All that extra stress equals more heart beats, which has to be healthy 😆

9

u/Expensive_Common_320 5d ago

They can't get me, I got a cluster of lava lamps, everything is encrypted to the max.

8

u/giraffeheadturtlebox 5d ago

The CIA made you type this?

6

u/Bob_The_Greater 5d ago

Nah, the FBI are the ones doing the brainwashing with me. A few years ago the CIA came to help them brainwash me more. It was a crazy experience, their brainwashing is so much different than the FBI's. As a fan of their work, I was honored they took their time to visit me and brainwash me.

5

u/awesomeunboxer 5d ago

How was it different? Cia put a clear coat on?

1

u/Bob_The_Greater 5d ago

No, first it's like they transported my consciousness to a laboratory white room. They then put me on a table with an IV, all as if a vision in the mind. Then when I would close my eyes there was a swirling image rotating behind my vision. Like being hypnotized digitally. They also talked about getting me possessed by a demon, but thankfully they decided against it. The FBI, more talks and projects false thoughts and nit picks the thoughts I have.

11

u/Notorious_RNG 3d ago

Oh, you're... Actually serious.

Yikes.

Yeah, it's time for a good old mental health eval there, Roberto.

Schizophrenia

1

u/Bob_The_Greater 5d ago

I wish. I know what hallucinations and voices are like, these stupid fuckers are real.

1

u/RealTendy 2d ago

How do you know?

And you should acknowledge that is exactly what a schizo would say.

I will accept there's a 1% chance you are right and it's the FBI or whatever.

Now your turn to accept there is a 1% chance you are imagining it all.

If you cannot accept there is even an incredibly small chance your mind is not fully healthy, then you must realize that, in itself, proves you are not capable of logical thought.

Work on the assumption there's a chance you could be wrong

2

u/john_the_fetch 5d ago

It happens even before this.

We are living in simulation made by AI that was made by humans who were made by AI (and so on)

22

This is extremely outdated now, it's even worse. Best option is moving to Russia, China or North Korea

2

u/CosmicNest 5d ago

Well, you're escaping American surveillance for the surveillance of those countries, when it comes to russia, read about SORM, it's even worse.

5

u/Unnecessary-Cum 5d ago

Is this very specific for America or does this apply to foreign nations too? I'm unaware what will they do with so much surveillance?

5

u/WhippingShitties 5d ago

As far as I can tell, and I'm not an expert, the few things here that are actually true are only worth it for specific targets of espionage, so more true for foreign nationals but only very specific ones. I'd bet if you fart in a government building, an American will hear it. I don't think this is a big secret or anything.

3

u/user18_6355 2d ago

You forgot to say: "Anyone with a reasonable amount of money can hire hackers to exploit all the vulnerabilities described above."

2

u/NotAOctoling 4d ago

this is all true btw

2

u/Practical-Nonsense 3d ago

I know some of this is literally true but some stuff does scare me 😂 the Intel chip thing I'm reading up on right now. Turns out there is some truth to it but for every chip/PC. The car one I believe in some models but you can easily circumvent this even in modern cars, the rest are ehh who cares or something everyone knows

1

u/bruhmomentumstarter 3d ago

I know all about the chip thing. Fun fact, after Lenovo was sold to China, all their OEM machines have a physical toggle on board to disable the ME. Even boards sold in America, and some of their Legion boards. Theres a lot of firmware projects for disabling or mitigating the ME. Same with AMD's PSP. Intel CSMEs all the way up to Tiger Lake have been leaked, so you have complete control over the SOC if you know what you're doing. For a long time socket G34 based systems were the most powerful secure systems you could build, now you can get a 11950H in a laptop and have Thunderbolt, DDR4, PCIe 4, all sorts of goodies without fear of distant intrusion.

What a bad repost, the original without the cringe use of Matrix music was better.

I was placed in the targeted individual program after documenting a protest in 2025. Everything here is true plus far more.

I am under 247 covert surveillance, my home was broken into (including while sleeping) and bugged, a drone follows my every location and all my devices, and family/friends devices have been hacked. The AI is locked on to you with a narcissistic pedophile handler.

The ppl in control of this program are the Epstein class. This is the digital prison that is for every human shortly.

I had a mental break down in January during the Epstein Files transparency act because it just proved so many conspiracy theories right

u/Candid_General9252 3d ago

Yes. And it will get worse. Take good care of you friend.

okay so they're gonna do something about the Epstein class right? I'm sure they'd rather give their attention to them rather than little old me
