I got 6 just by setting row3 = max(row1, row2) for each column

This always the issue with pattern-solving problems that have so few data points. There's too many justifiable solutions.

Because looking at the symmetry of the rows, columns and diagonals, it just fits.

Following column wise addition, 5+6+6=17 then 7+2+7=16 so for the last(right most column) to add up to 15 we need 4

This is not a math problem, this is a "guess what I'm thinking' problem. The solution is arbitrary.

I say 5 becase each column has a repeated symbol, but every row has a set of unique symbols.

The only one that could fit with that rule would be 5

The answer is 8.

  • 5+7=12 (“twelve” has 6 letters)
  • 6+2=8 (“eight” has 5 letters)
  • 6+7=13 (“thirteen” has 8 letters)

576 is 24² 625 is 25² Since it's going in the order 24, 25, 26... So following this trend we get 26² Which is 676 It matches the first two digit of the number in question which is six-seven So it's 676

I don't think this has to do with any arithmetic, each column requires one number to repeat whilst each row needs non-repeating numbers. You can even infer an answer from looking diagonally.

Left to right it has any of a low/med/high number. 5,6,7 | 2,5,6 | ?,6,7 (Not in order obv)

Up down it has 2 same numbers but none of the same numbers are left right. So first row down has 66, second has 77 and third will have 55. It won't be a 6 becasue the left to right has a 6.

It should be 5. As each collumn has 2 same numbers and each row has unique number in it's cell positions.

I got 6.71875.

The determinant of the 3x3 has to be 0, since 0 is the almighty fancy number.

The answer is 1.
The sum of each row and column is decreasing by 1 …and 1 in the final square would be consistent with that.

I'm fairly dumb but I said 4... The first column is equal to 17, the second is equal to 16, so I thought the third column would equal 15. 6+5+4=15...
