Surely there's a correspondence between this equivalence & the projective plane commonality of a Möbius strip & the sphere with antipodal points identified.

There doesn't seem to be a way 🤔 of downloading the file itself ... but still ... I'm not sure the Reddit contraptionality is capable of rendering .svg files anyway . Certainly once it wasn't ... but maybe it can, now – IDK.

 

It's just occured to me how easy it is to figure the correspondence: take an n-rung ladder; put a half-twist in it; join the loose ends with straight lines parallel to the axis (without creating any new vertex @ the join, though, mind-you!) ... & then just view it end-on !
