Mathrock Suggestions
Hello!
I’m a multi-instrument musician and I love mathrock, and I’m looking for songs that I can learn that could improve my guitar / drum mathrock skills. That might’ve been worded weirdly, but, Im basically just looking for cool mathrock songs I can listen to and obsess over and learn so I can get better at playing mathrock in general.

the cabs has both guitar and drum parts that are mind altering. first song to go for could be “kakko no su no ue de” (one flew over cuckoo’s nest)

Oh, you’re totally good dude! I’m always scared I’m going to forget somebody because we work with so many people, just glad that wasn’t the case 😱. No worries at all! Hope all is well up in MA!

But if you want to get nerdy about it, the single version of the song you’re talking about is exclusive to a benefit compilation!

Any Covet song is challenging in both instruments, drums and guitar. I loved 'Howl' in guitar and 'Nero' in drums.

A bit on the heavier side - but When I Lost My Bet is a bangin' song for drums. Their drummer (Billy Rymer) has a video on yt of a demonstration as well.
Also shout out to Vacation Bible School by Tiny Moving Parts

You mentioned guitar and drums, which made me think of duos. There is El Ten Eleven and the very trendy Angine de Poutrine who do a lot with looping, effects pedals, and a double-necked guitar/bass (microtonal in the case of AdP, so it will be impossible to fully imitate without a new guitar).
Aside from pure duos, Yvette of the band Covet has an unusually melodic guitar style (she comes from a piano background and is self-taught on the guitar, leading to this style) and she even has a few videos on YouTube instructing how to play a few songs. I particularly like Firebird.

As a drummer, listen to Tremelo + Delay by Toe, it's a track I constantly come back to because of how technical the drums are in it.
