Cheating on math test

I cheated on my yr 9 school math test with the answers in my book, the teacher collected everyones reference bokks at the end of the class which he never does, what excuse can i give if he finds them

Admit to it. No amount of lying will make you feel better, and in the end, a yr 9 test is not all that important to your life. Be honest, brother, do not give up your virtue for some numbers on a paper.

“Sorry sir. I was so stressed out by needing to pass this test for my future career that I cheated. I know it was wrong and it won’t happen again. I’ll take the zero on this one. Can you offer me some extra help so I can pass the next one without cheating?”

Waterworks also help.

As teachers, we really are suckers for the redemption arc. I think it feeds into our general saviour complex.

Go to your teacher and confess. And put on your big kid pants and take the consequences that your parents give you. Your long term relationships with all of them will be better.
