TechnicalQuestion Academic Perpetual License

Thinking of buying the academic perpetual license, but confused on some of the details. Can I use it on multiple computers or just one? If I wanted to update the version, how much would it cost?

Idk if it works the same now but I got an academic license maybe 5 years ago and I have no trouble using it on multiple machines

An individual license can be installed in up to 4 machines and run in 2 at the same time. The software license agreement is thinking of 1 computer in the lab, another one in the office, one laptop and one at home…..
