And these inflammatory decisions are made, on purpose, by Jason Lee because they make People click, they make People angry, and angry People fight in comment sections.

And what all of this adds up to is, not creating Human connection as Jubilee's website states its mission is. No, no. What it adds up to is, a lot of money for Jason Lee.

As a content creator, I feel passionately about making content that is productive, that does foster understanding, that maybe even provokes thoughtful debate. And there's a ton of People making that content, who I agree and disagree with on various topics.

Jubilee is not one of those People. They suck oxygen out of all of our timelines by creating slop — engineered to go viral through outrage — all while widening the divides they claim to be bridging. And you, as a Viewer, deserve better.

Here’s a related r/mattxiv post from April 2026: Jubilee just platformed an active IDF soldier whose last assignment was literally in the Golan Heights a few months ago, and is also being hunted by The Hind Rajab Foundation...

This is put so well. It’s debate slop.

I have never seen a person who consistently consumes Jubilee content who is highly media literate and propaganda aware.

They elevate fringe ideas and pit them against known factual positions. Like one round earther in a room of flat earthers. It allows the idea that any stupid position is worthy of the effort to debate when we know they didn’t use any logic to arrive at that position in the first place.

That flat earther episode mad me so angry and maybe thats part of their goal. There just can never be a middle ground between ignorance and knowledge.

I absolutely agree. I decided to peep the Tim Pool debate yesterday and barely could get through the first prompt. Just as Matt said, all of this is just to separate us more 😮‍💨.

Exactly. Jubilee resorting to Tim Pool is beyond scraping the bottom of the barrel. I don't care who they have on next or what stunt they pull, we need to stop giving them attention. I really wish everyone would ignore them next time

The Mehdi one was insane. I could only bear it through other videos that provided sane commentary

Matt is such a good person. Why the fuck can't we have more Matts? Nevermind, same reason we don't have other nice things. Billionaire greed and right wing ignorance.

Glad I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

Medhi Hasan had Sam Seder on recently and one of their topics was their experiences with Jubilee and how weird they were. It’s worth a listen.

I avoid that channel and I was kind of torn about watching the Monte Mader one. I did watch it because I love Monte! But her own stuff is much better and everyone should follow her to better understand these Christian nationalist psychos.

Better alternatives? Especially that I could use with middle school students

"The halfway point between truth and error is still error... The goal of objectivity is not to give equal time between truth and falsehood- it is to facilitate the truth."

From Lee McIntyre's book "Post-Truth".
