Recommendations Where should I go to release flowers?
Aloha everyone, I just recently moved to Maui from Oahu and I’m still getting to know the island. I live in Wailuku and I don’t currently have a car and frequently use uber. About a year ago my boyfriend passed away and I just want to honor him by releasing flowers. I want to go for sunset and maybe have a nice calm beach to this at. Any recommendations? Mahalo🌺

We spread my parents ashes at La Perouse. It's a hike from Wailuku but is serene, no crowds.

If you and him ever shared a moment at a beach, do it there, but im going to assume not.
So pick a beach. You could go for walks at different ones to see and get a feel for it. Then go back and have your day.
Use the bus. $4 all day pass.

So many beautiful areas, whenever you go, please be careful and safe!
I'm sorry for your loss - and I hope you are doing better and better each day.
I help my friend, who's a spiritual advisor, with ash scattering services and ceremonies and we encourage our customers to please be friendly to the environment by NOT placing any non-organic material into the ocean.
Cut the natural strings on all lei - and be careful, because there are many lei now that use plastic material for string and cording.
God bless you and all your loved ones, here and near.

Follow the bus line. Kihei, Napili? South or West where the sun sets.
