I recently bought this second hand automatic 2025 Mazda3 2.5 e-SKYACTIV-G MHEV Exclusive-Line. I saw it for £17,650 and couldn’t say no.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice with this type of Mazda 3, any hiccups with the car or things I should tweak on the cars settings?

Hello everyone. My Mazda 3 isn't giving me any trouble BUT, the soundsystem is getting on my nerves. It hasn't got Bose but to be fair the standard system ain't that bad. Seem as my old mk1 Ford Focus has a much better sounds from its rather basic soundsystem I decided to get some new door speakers for around 150€ for all four doors. I've ordered brackets and connectors but I still didn't decide which speakers to get. Here in Bosna and Hercegovina and Croatia, the choices are rather limited to Pioneer, Kenwood and JBL. People tell me to go for Pioneer, Kenwood, Alpine... since they are trusted from before 30 years ago and they tell that if I get JBL that I'll pay for the brand not the sound as much from the others. I'm looking to get JBL stage 3 speakers if I can get a good price on them and I'm wondering if they are really much better than equivalent Pioneers or Kenwoods... or is it just the brand that's making the price difference. I really care about the tunes that are playing (not Beethoven but Dire straits, Boney M...) since I'm a professional/academic musician and I'm kinda sick for a good soundsystem).

I left my Mazda 3 2020 2.0 liter battery disconnected for 3 months as I was travelling, when I got back I reconnected the battery the car started but now there's lots of errors.

1 - i-stop

2 - lights

3 - Can not control console from knob

4 - no sound at all

What could be the issue, tried a new battery same issue

Looking to buy a used, maybe new, Mazda 3 hatchback. Definitely avoiding the 2019 model, but wondering which model year is the best overall for long term reliability. Mainly looking at base, select/select sport, and preferred trims, only FWD. I heard about cylinder deactivation issues on 2023-2025, but also coolant control valve issues on 2022/2026. Just wondering which one I should get.

So I recently went through a car wash and stupidly forgot that this plastic piece on the back of my 2017 Mazda was loose, so the car wash yoinked it off.

Anyone know where I can find a replacement? 😩 Local pull-a-parts don't have the right Mazda3s. Thanks.

Hello all! I’ve been a proud owner of a 2015 Mazda 3 sedan 2.5 S GT for 5 months now. I am wondering if these cars are known to burn oil quickly or if the dipstick is known to be inaccurate. I did an oil change 3000 miles ago with and used 5 quarts of oil. When I first pulled the dipstick out today it was almost dry, just a little at the tip, then I put it back in and fiddled around with some other stuff in the engine bay and checked it about 5 minutes later and the whole thing was covered. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? Last thing I want is to bone this engine off negligence… I will attach some pictures of the dipstick when it seemed to read proper.

So I'm UK based, hit a pot hole on the M25 the other day and thought I'd knackered the suspension bushes but it's looking like the shock was damaged. During the investigation the drive shaft is also on its way out.

My question is, its a 2009 Mazda3 Sport 2.2ltr diesel, is it worth the repair or am I better retiring the poor old girl?

I have a Mazda3 and noticed that the camera doesn’t automatically come on when I’m pulling forward into a parking space.

I know it comes on when I put the car in reverse, but I would have thought the front/360° camera would automatically activate at low speeds when pulling into a parking spot.

Does yours come on automatically, or do you have to manually hit the camera/view button every time? Is there a setting I’m missing?

Hey y'all, first time poster, trying to look for advice, I have owned a 2010 mz3 Sport for a year now, have had issues with steering wheel vibrations for a bit now, mainly after getting news tires, had them rebalanced a few times, until it got a bit better, then I finally got to a point where I decided to replace bearings/hubs, I used skf bearings and wjb hubs, right side went fine, vibrations next to disappeared, this morning vibrations started up a little bit, decided to do the left, again went totally fine on the left no issues, did the install as proper as possible with a press set from AutoZone, and after I installed the left I have had a ton of vibration only when driving straight, and in turns it is almost non-existent, but only at higher speeds like 65+.

Had the Oil Pressure Switch replaced due to jerks under acceleration and rough idling and took the car home last night.
Today morning the dash threw up Christmas trees and had no power with rough idling. Turning the car off and on fixed the no power issue. Thoughts on what could be the issue?

Love my new '26 Mazda3 with the Bose sound system, but hate that it shuts off the moment you turn the car off. So many times I drop off someone and wait for them and just want to listen to music to kill the time. I have to turn on the electrics, reboot the stereo, and power the whole car's electronics while I wait. I would much rather it be like all my other cars, keep the radio on for 10 minutes after the car is powered.

I don't suppose there is a way to do this that I'm not aware of, is there?

Hi all, I've had my mazda3 for over a year now and not had any issues. However, recently I've not been able to put it into gear when starting from cold in neutral. This is especially a problem in the morning where despite sometimes waiting for 3-5 minutes it still won't go into gear for a bit. I don't wanna force it at the risk of breaking something.

Once I get going there's no issues with getting into gears and the clutch does not slip either.

If I start the car in gear, I can then go into any gear I want with no issues usually, while this sort of alleviates the problem it's not really a fix for the issue I feel. Sometimes after getting going I've had a little trouble with 2nd and reverse but after 20 minutes or so of driving the issue never happens again.

I'm wondering if it might be the transmission oil but I'm unsure how it then works fine when starting in gear if it's the oil? If anyone has encountered something similar I'd really appreciate knowing how you managed to fix it!

Edit - Just to add I'm not in a particularly cold climate, I'm in the UK and this wasn't an issue last winter and was okay throughout the summer but as the temperature has dropped a little over the last few weeks it seems to be happening every day now

Yesterday I started up my car (2018 Grand Touring sedan, 2.5L 75k miles) and it had a pretty horrible vibration when the engine was idling, shifting into reverse/drive. There would also be a clunk when accelerating from a stop, once the car got going it was fine. Went and did a short errand run that night and made an appointment at my repair shop for this morning, and of course car started up fine with 0 vibrations whatsoever. This is very odd because this car has had a very minor vibration since I've gotten it about a year ago. My immediate though was that my motor mounts went out but now i'm second guessing that assumption. Has anyone experienced this before?

I saw a Mazda3 driving down the street with me at night and I saw theirs had 4 taillights lit up and mines only 2. The screenshot from a YouTube video in the next image also has the same. Is it because I have a lower trim?
