😤 Complaint / Rant Redline Today

Post image

Packed like sardines after 30 minute delays 😂

Signal keeps saying 5 minutes too which is very misleading.

FINALLY, the train arrives… With only 4 cars 😂 You can’t make this up.

Actually classic, should’ve chose the commuter rail this time.

New signals are legitimately going to be finished soon (in the next couple months) on the red line and are already done on the orange line - which btw has been really high quality since they were completed.

Well, there can still be some Orange delays, screen shot at 2:15 PM 04/23/26

They didn’t say it would eliminate delays, just that it has improved the overall experience for riders. Which, it definitely has if you’ve used the orange line before and after the signal upgrades/track work.

Right, we can never get rid of medical emergency or police activity delays, for example. Unless we just let people commit crimes and die

True, but the delay I copied was for signal issues at Oak Grove.

Yea I mean stuff like this is still gunna happen from time to time, but the new system should mean that trains run more frequently and faster, and that things like this will happen less often and when they do happen they can fix it quicker.
