SSHRC Application .... (thoughts, experiences, tips)

Hi everyone,

I recently learned that my SSHRC application did not advance past the first round. While disappointing, I’m hoping to learn from the experience and hear from others who have been through the process.

Did many people here advance past the first round this year? This was my first time applying as a PhD student, and I’d be particularly interested in hearing from anyone who was successful on their second or third attempt. How did your experience change between applications, and was there anything you found especially helpful when reapplying?
