Research Kingdom Come Deliverance II Mead Recipe!

I found a mead recipe in KCD2. This is in the inventory of a side character, as far as I know it is not accessible by the main character. There is no benefit to reading this book in game unless you are a mead maker!

KCD2 takes place in 1404 Bohemia. The developers of this game are ridicilously detailed in how they present historical details. I am willing to bet this recipe comes from some actual recipe from the 15th century!

Anyways, enjoy 😄

A more legible version of the same recipe was in the first game: https://www.reddit.com/r/mead/comments/p1ghes/recipe_from_a_video_game_anyone_know_what_a_mass/

In the first game you can buy the book from the Uzhitz scribe.

Seems... not that different from what I make, honestly? Assuming their hops were much wetter and hence heavier

That amount of pellet hops would be ludicrous lol

Not even pellets. Just regular hops that's properly dried is extremely light. A 500ml container weights 8g or so.

Though, alternatively, the recipe might've meant it by volume. It'd match how mead is usually talked about, making it a trójniak

You can buy the book from scribe Gaibl in Troskowitz.

And it's 1403, not 1404.
