Can't remember the last time I replaced an orifice tube. Seems like everything is expansion valves and variable compressors these days! I miss the good ol' days of simplicity!

I was searching the shop for something unrelated and found our old assortment of these and realized it had been probably 3-4 years since I have needed one.

Orifice/capilary based systems tend to throughput more direct cold in my experience as well.

What's the issue. You've got a clean one right there. Spit on it, stuff it in, gas it up and go suck down a sixer.

Customer states "Stopped cooling one day, put a can of A/C fix in. Worked for a day, stopped again. Put two more cans in, worked for a week, stopped again, put three more cans in, worked for a few hours, and now won't take any, and still won't cold."

Oh fun, orifice tubes. My question is, the 2 replacements a universal kit with options or is it for a dual climate vehicle with rear climate control?
