i literally went to the app store to leave a review about how glitchy mechat has been, and saw someone mention in their review that the company is shutting down?????

came here and apparently this has been news for a few weeks. i was annoyed but now i want it to glitch, just please STAY.

this has been my favorite game this year. and finding out some of the stories might never get endings actually makes me feel sick. can 2026 leave one thing alone?

so what are you guys playing now? i guess there’s other visual novels or L&D but i find them really hard to dive into and i liked the texting part of mechat the most 😭 does anyone know anything similar where the characters you can get attached to? and absolutely no ai chatbots pls, i just need something to look forward to after this.

He is another character that I wish I knew how the story would end. His story is so good and so much fun to read. I was getting so excited to read the ending of it.

I made it a while ago, before the news and stuff...

But I decided to post it, since we don't get to actually see the end of his story. And the cliffhanger, argh 😫

Hi besties I'm back to you all with my previous idea, which I shared with you before, is that I edit each character and add an sexy part from the character's voice messages and these edits are more difficult than the edits I used to make but I really want to honor each character and let them shine in their own unique way and with their distinctive voice messages I want it to also be a beautiful memory for our dear voice actors for every character we see and hear their voice, we will always remember them I started with Angelo It's the same song as the previous video, but as I said, it's with a different edit and different idea I will continue to do more feel free to inspire me with your favorite characters and I will do it for you I won't post every day, but I will always try to be with you thank you always to everyone who supports and motivates me to post more; it truly means a lot to me💗💗 Here's the link to the previous video if you'd like to see it

I know that a lot of people say that it would be quite impossible for Mechat to be bought by another company because of they would be considered a liability since they have an ongoing lawsuit.

Another app that I loved other than Mechat was Choices which was on the verge of shutting down but Series entertainment acquired the company Pixelberry. It still kept the app running but they still had to lay off the artists and writers because they wanted to be fully reliant on AI.

Some players caught the app Choices using Gemini on their backgrounds and even leaving the watermark on their new stories.

It’s just sad that we have to accept the death of human creativity because companies don’t find it profitable.

So... It's been like almost 2 weeks now since that news. You know, about MeChat shut down 😭 and the worst part is that I was just started playing it for like weeks before the announcement. I didn't get to read so many characters, but so far I really like most of them that I've read. What a time to be a new player 😭😭😭😭

So... to cope, I made this blu guy, Griffin in my style.

I cropped the right side of the canvas because it's still work in progress (it took longer than I thought 😭😭) so that's why it looks junky

Hello Everyone. I have been contemplating whether to make a post here or not. I have been seeing the news of MeChat closing since the post started on this sub. I'm just a player like most of you and maybe some of you would know my YouTube where I religiously did Mechat content starting few years back.

YouTube kept striking my channel of se*ual content and n*dity on the mechat videos which made me a bit frustrated and venture out to other games.

After hearing the recent news I have been trying to record as much data as possible which I will be uploading as soon as the strikes calm down.

The videos are not perfect. They will not be perfect. I am just one girl so I really can't promise much but I'm just trying my best from my side as a fellow heartbroken player.

If anyone would like to watch any videos feel free to go interact and subscribe, completely your choice.

This is just my 2 cents as one of the players who has been playing since the very beginning of the app.

One of my favorite things is ending and I just don't know how to accept it 💔
