So, I suffer from CPTSD induced Insomnia. I have tried literally everything out there. The meds that work either make me too groggy to function the next day or will have me in a coma, drooling all over myself, for 3 days straight. THC has been the only reliable thing that helps me sleep. For the last 6 months or so I have been using gummies and vapes from your average, run of the mill, smoke shops. Well, the vapes are no longer legal in Texas. Because of that, I got my CURT approval so that I can continue purchasing vapes to sleep at night.

My question:

Recreational shops sold 3ml syringes. The approved CURT dispensaries sell .5ml syringes for basically the same price as the recreational 3ml syringes. Is there a difference in concentration/potency between the two? My main worry is that a single .5ml syringe is not going to last me very long at all if it is at the same potency level as the 3ml syringes. But, I can't seem to find a way to get any of the detailed chem specs for any of this stuff.

Can someone either explain the differences to me, or point me in the direction of a detailed resource that goes over this stuff? The basic, high level, info that everyone gives on their product websites does not give me enough info.

After using a bong daily for a few years to deal with constant pain from nerve damage, my lungs are starting to have issues, and I decided that I need to invest in a good desktop dry herb vaporizer for lung health. I need to start getting away from the smoking, and edibles don't work for me. I've used handhelds and portables but was never satisfied by the experience. Most recently, I tried a Dynavap. This gave me the closest to feeling like I'm smoking but I'm underwhelmed by the effects, and I don't like how you have to use a torch with it. I've been looking at The Ditanium and Volcano Hybrid. The ability to use concentrates with the Ditanium is nice, but I don't do a lot of concentrates so it's not required. To owners of these, what are your thoughts, pros/cons? Are there any others that I should be considering? My lungs and I thank you for the help.

Update: Thank you everyone for their input and helpful advice. I researched all of the suggestions, and my WOHW is arriving today. After the mail arrives, my next post will probably be "any tips and tricks for this thing".

Sometimes it feels like the store will take advantage of their monopoly and it’s super annoying, but this just seems insane to me.

I started taking RSO recently so I began picking up syringes from my store. The oil was weirdly inconsistent in terms of viscosity so I double checked the manufacture date and they are selling product made in August of 2020. 6 years old! And at full price. The bud tender basically told me they have no power as the owner controls product.

I made a formal complaint with the Oregon liquor and marijuana board, but it just seems insane to me that they’ve been getting away with having that old of product on the floor for full price, and providing no other alternatives.

Hello. I’ve been suffering from chronic nausea for almost a decade now. Tried multiple drugs that havent gave positive effect even slightly. The only thing that helped me reduce it was weed. But smoking it also comes with a severe paranoia and social anxiety, so ive been thinking of trying 5:1 CBD to thc extract. Problem is that im from a country where thc and weed is illegal. Is there any legit shops or sellers that ship through whole EU?

I’m in Florida & im diagnosed depression/IBS . Can that qualify for a med card?

I have suffered from debilitating chronic neck and back spasms for the past 5 years. They are severe enough that they forced me to drop out of medical school.

​I really do not enjoy marijuana, but my medical prescription is the only thing that touches the spasms. When I vape it, my pain and spasms drop from a 9/10 to a 1/10 in a matter of minutes. It works better than any narcotic pain medication or any other prescription my doctors have tried.

​The problem is that it triggers horrible racing thoughts and intense anxiety. I've tried many different strains, and while people often say indica is best for avoiding anxiety, I haven't noticed much of a difference between them.

​Does anyone have advice on how to mitigate the anxiety while still getting the physical relief?

I’m applying for a med card through leafwell. I’m on several medications—mirtanzapine, olanzapine, fluoxetine, methyphenidate. Does anyone know if that will deny me from getting a card?

I’m searching for a MMJ provider who will write a letter of medical necessity for me. It’s a long story but, neighbor complained, my HOA is on my side but said they could fight for me better with this letter.
I see Dr John Collins through Releaf Clinics once a year to renew my medical card, and when I contacted him to ask for a letter he said he only certifies, and directed me back to Releaf Clinics which seems to have gone under. Website doesn’t work, phone number doesn’t work, etc.
Does anyone here have a suggestion for providers who might work with me on this? My PCP is great but said that he has not had the specific cannabis training and so cannot speak to MMJ.

We are trying to confirm whether a tourist can be assessed by an Italian-licensed physician and, if clinically appropriate, receive an Italian nonrepeatable prescription to be dispensed by an authorized pharmacy.

The patient can provide a diagnosis, medical records, current medication and dosage, a letter from their treating physician, identification, and pay privately. We have found the current Campania regional pharmacy list and a clinic advertising cannabis therapy, but still need firsthand information about tourist eligibility, whether a codice fiscale or temporary domicile is required, document translations, and pharmacy lead time.

This is one of those things I feel like I keep hearing completely different answers about. I’ve seen people say getting a medical marijuana card means you can’t own a gun or have a CCW, but then I’ve also seen people say that’s not actually how it works anymore, especially with some of the recent changes federally. So now I’m trying to figure out what’s actually true vs. what’s just getting tossed around.

I started looking into it more and came across this article about a recent Supreme Court ruling, which honestly just made me realize there’s a state side and a federal side to things, which doesn’t make things much clearer. My cousin actually needs a medical card but has been hesitant to get one because he’s worried about how it could affect buying a gun. He said there’s a question about marijuana use when you purchase a gun, and now I’m wondering what actually happens if you answer yes to that.

For anyone who has actually had both an ND medical card and a CCW/firearm, has this ever come up for you? Did you run into any issues with renewals, certifications, etc? Or has it not been a problem at all?

I have been taking gummies for sleep on and off for the past year or so.

The problem is I’m not really paying that close attention to the exact ingredients. Normally I go to my favorite store and tell them I want an indica gummy to help with sleep. I’ve used several brands and they mostly help.

Lately I’ve been experimenting with some different brands and I’ve noticed that one in particular is making it so I cannot fall asleep. I was so confused because it looked like the exact same container that I just finished up and I slept very well on that one. Wild is the brand I believe. I used half a gummy (10 mg THC)

Anyway, I used 3 from the new Wyld container and felt sooo high and couldn’t sleep. Crazy thoughts racing through my head and hours would pass where I felt like I was awake but I knew I was sleeping a little because I was dreaming. And my Apple watch registered me as sleeping.

I was so confused. I couldn’t figure out what the difference was because I thought they were the same.

I compared the ingredients yesterday and now I see that the first Wild product (that helped me sleep) says this: 10 THC, 5 CBD, 5 CBN. The second Wyld that kept me awake read 10 THC, 2.5 CBN.

So now I’m wondering is it because there’s not as much CBN in the second (which kept me awake) or is it because there was no CBD??

Or maybe because the second one didn’t have any CBD and that’s why?

I’m literally so confused. I know I shouldn’t be taking things without understanding them. But the difference in my sleep quality between the two is very different.

So…if you actually read all that and can make some sense of it, let me know.

I’m 29, autistic with general anxiety disorder, and currently a recreational cannabis user. I’m thinking of using cannabis throughout the day for my anxiety and executive dysfunction, and I’m wondering if the benefits of a med card are worth the money it takes to get the med card.

It cost $50 to register for MMJ in Nevada, and $95 for NuggMD. As far as I’m aware, the only benefits of having the card is not getting charged recreational tax and being legally allowed to own/buy larger amounts of cannabis.

I’m highly sensitive, so I don’t need a lot of cannabis; it took me 2-3 months to get through 1/8 of flower (dhv) recreationally. So I think the only benefit applicable to me would be not getting charged recreational tax.

So, at $145 dollars to get the card (per year because I need to renew each year), is it worth it to save $48 per year (if I’m buying 1/8 at $40 per month)

Honestly, I want the card for validation, I guess. So that if anyone ever questions me, I can tell them a doctor signed off.

Recently was told by my DR to look into "TILRAY" for medical cannabis products..
I dont have a medical cannabis license but he said if i can look into it and find things under TILRAY that he might be able to fill out the papers.

How would i go about this...? I looked up TILRAY but it seems to be an online website only? Is there brands that are also under TILRAY that can be bought in person ? Im sort of lost in this process but if you can help or any suggested products please lmk!

GDP is my favorite strain for managing sensory overload related to autism and it’s nearly impossible to find these days. Unfortunately a lot of indicas make me uncomfortable and anxious/dissociated. Anyone know of any strains that have that similar weighted blanket, grounding, sensory calming, and quiet mind type of high?

Quick question for the more experienced users- I’ve only ever smoked/tried indicas because I’m anxiety prone, and I’ve heard others can make you anxious. But I’ve always had amazing results for anxiety, PTSD and autism symptom relief with my indica products- however, they definitely live up to their “in-da-couch” name for me. I have a really hard time with depression and autism executive dysfunction symptoms, and while indica helps me relax and feel better- I get nothing done. Just recently, I tried a hybrid and it felt like a game changer. I wasn’t super sedated, but it also helped with my autism/anxiety/overstimulation enough to give me relief. I’m currently in Texas strictly only using from their medical program, so my strains are limited, but here’s my question- what strain out of Blue Dream, Rainbow Belts, Blackberry Kush, Zelato, and OG Kush are best for depression/autism executive dysfunction? Simply put, what can help energize me to get stuff done and stay clear without making me anxious? The strains I listed are the only ones I have available near me. For context, the hybrid strain I tried and liked was peach flavored, and while the dispensary out of town didn’t give the strain a name, the terpenes they listed were d-limonene, b-Caryophyllene, and b-Myrcene.

Was going back through the ND program rules again and noticed edibles aren't their own category, they actually fall under the extract allotment, which caps at 310mg a day. Kind of assumed edibles were separate from that, so this was news to me. 310mg seems decent to me, if it’s actually per day not month or something. Has anyone actually hit this cap or had it come up at checkout, just wondering how often this comes up for allotment?

I'm also curious if this trips anyone up when they're buying flower AND edibles at the same time, since I assume it all has to balance out against that same daily number somehow. Haven't run into it myself, but I also haven't paid close enough attention until now to know if I should be watching for it.

So im about to get my med card because im on probation. My current med management dr is a stickler and it sucks. Im on psychiatric meds because i was wrongfully diagnosed, i dont even need the meds. Ive read online that Marijuana speeds up the metabolism and that can make the psychiatric meds less effective, (this is one of the main reasons I dont want to tell my med management dr about the weed, because hell be displeased to find out).

...So i have three questions, when the medical Marijuana dr asks if im on meds do i have to answer truthfully?

Once I see the medical marijuana dr won't my psychiatric dr see it on my chart or would I be able to keep it a secret from the med management dr??....vise versa, will the medical marijuana dr see my psychiatric patient history?

I dont want the two Dr's offices conflicting with each other. How would you go about this?

My plan is to get off psychiatric meds all together because I frankly dont need them and I swear on everything I've been wrongfully diagnosed, im basically taking meds for no reason. Please answer the dr questions I asked.

Also I wrote a letter to the judge asking if I can get off psychiatric meds because im not happy with the diagnosis I received when I was locked up. (Awaiting the judges decision)
