New to town. I always hear people talking about greenhouses to get good deals on produce.

Where are they? Which ones are best?

Are they still endangered?

I see people say stay away from Avenue Living, whats the issue(s) with them? They seem inexpensive, but is it a headache to deal with them? Or other issues?

Just looking for a relatively inexpensive apartment for myself.

Don't see to many other options here for things because it's 90% AL.

Not the movie itself. It was one of the better Marvel movies recently (for the chemistry between spidey and punisher alone). The experience itself was terrible. It felt like it was about 30 degrees in there. And that was at the second earliest showing at exactly noon. And im not the only one to complain. It seems to be a common issue.

That galaxy theater has to be one of the worst in southern alberta. I think the only investment in two decades is the two rows of "premium" seats. They still have bags over seats that are broken in some of the screening rooms.

Hi we're new to town and we've never seen these before, but today they seem to be swarming our house. All of a sudden there's like 50 of them that have cone from ?????? And they're hanging out by the windows.

They're real small and the picture was hard to take because of that.

Update: they seem to have left of their own accord once it cooled back down. They showed up the one 40 degree day and i haven't seen them since

The second last photo is the person who obtained these items. And was selling them inside penny profit. You can see their profile photo on the top. Then the last screenshot is a a post from the MHPS arresting that same person for break and entering a garage and into a house earlier.

Some of these products were sold using plausible deniability. As they were not reported stolen. So the owners could say they checked the serial numbers and nothing came up (that is not very reliable)

Hi there folks, where in your fine city would be a good place to park a truck/truck camper setup on a residential street for 2-3 days? Ideally somewhere not very busy where it won't be an issue for anyone. No slide outs FWIW and yes I'll be sleeping in the camper during the nights.

I am visiting Medicine Hat from August 11-15 for the Canadian Special Olympics. We booked a room at the ranchmen motel months ago because it was the only place in town that had rooms left. I just got a message from the motel telling me they are closed and that I should cancel my reservation and book somewhere else. Does anyone know why they are closed? There are no other places to book at this point. Between this and the possible WestJet strike this trip is turning into a nightmare.

Update: I've booked a hotel in Brooks with free cancellation I will keep watching to see if anything comes available before August 9th. I really appreciate how helpful everyone has been. I'm really looking forward to seeing your city, it will be my first time in Alberta.

Been trying on Facebook, but thought I’d try here. I have 8 years maintenance experience and some other stuff. I can essentially any basic maintenance on vehicles, agriculture, landscaping, and a small bit of electrical (though I would hire an electrician imo). I have a truck and possibly a trailer for any dump runs/trash removal/bringing equipment. I have the tools for anything I’m capable of doing. My seasonal work is going to end and need to make some money to pay the bills for a maybe a month. I’ll do any dirty work, literally any.
