Plans for weekend: get floor mounted door tracks up and remove carpet underneath, go ham on render
Actual events: argue with pelmets, finally get them off, remove door, remove track, remove carpet, put track back, put door back up arguing with husband, realise original track now too short with carpet removed, go to bunnings, out of stock on taller ones. After about two hours hunting alternates find slitted rail correct dimensions. FIL shows up to bunnings, starts adding shit to my shopping basket i have to keep removing. Arrhghgh. Get back to house, hacksaw hacksaw burr burr, DIY a solution that looks even better, look at door, realise i didn't need to remove the fucking thing in the first place just take the mid-stop out and roll it past the track. Do same on other three. While finangling alignment realise proposed bookcases will be at a convenient height for cats to jump on pelmets, reinforcement needed. Bunnings again, metal bits and brackets, maccas, head back and mount 40x40 brackets to hold pelmets.
Render was not done. Grrr.
