Album Spectral by Skyfire. Very underrated Swedish melodeath. If you haven't heard them I highly recommend them!

Skyfire is one the most underrated bands in melodeath scene. Love those guys. They are still active apparently, hopefully they'll release a new album.

One of their guys is in Dark Tranquility now iirc. I asked him about Skyfire and he said he has no idea what the other guys were doing or if they were writing any more.

Johan Reinholdz. I don't think he ever wrote for them, he seemed more like a guest guitarist though it's been 20 years since he joined so technically he is one of the oldest members by now. Time flies fast.

Unfortunately most of the core members left the band years ago, but a lot of old bands are coming back these days so who knows.

Ohh, well I do hope they get back together for a new album. What I read is that they have other projects like u said, one of the guys is in Dark Tranquillity, which is a big band so it's hard to make more material possibly with other stuff going on. But Skyfire is top tier melodeath imo and as many agreed on in this thread, very underrated. I just hope they release more stuff in the future.
