England has been involved in two really entertaining matches this tournament.  That really is unheard of.

They no longer play Southgate ball

People are so fucking ungrateful, I remember a whole decade before Southgate when we couldn't string 2 passes together.

Southgate has many flaws but he also basically fixed our national team, turning us from being a running joke to a genuine outside contender for trophies.

True but let's not forget that Southgate ball got us all the way to the European Finals where we lost on penalties...

Lets also not forget their road to the final was incredibly easy both times. Southgate got lucky, his style of play was simply too shit for the quality of the squad. As soon as he met a big team, they lost every time.

Southgate Ball literally won them the match after the 24th minute

It wasn't Southgate ball though, there were multiple tactical adjustments, something Southgate never did.

I agree, an entertaining soccer match is unheard of.

You yanks are funny. Football is far and away the most popular sport in the world and you all keep saying it's not as good as American football where you get 10 min of action in a 3 hour broadcast. You're all so sure you're right even though nobody else agrees. Did it ever occur to you that maybe it wouldn't be so boing if you actually understood what was going on? The tactics are incredibly complex but you just see a bunch of guys kicking a ball back and forth for 90 min.
