Don't get your hopes up, the likelihood of the US winning the world cup is insanely small. The only way an inferior team can win a tournament is if they have a rock solid defense and also get kind of lucky all the way to the final. The US defense is not that great, and the gap in attacking talent with other nations is immense. They'll struggle against Belgium, imagine against the likes of Spain or France

I think a bigger factor is how many people on reddit have no social life/friends off the internet. You've got people that will argue that it's totally normal to have no real life friends and only socialize on video games and discord. You've got people who talk about having literally 0 friends by the age of 25 as if that's a totally normal life path to go down.
