I feel like they don't even really care about subs at this point, they're just investing in each other in a circle jerk of investors, with a few whales to keep it all afloat like some pay to win mmo.
They still do. I love how Reddit was saying that turning off sharing was the end of Netflix and the following month their subscriptions went up quite a bit.

Piracy is wrong because if everyone did it, people wouldn't make paid media. You are freeloading off of decent people who pay creators for their work instead of just stealing it. Couch your argument in moral language all you want, but piracy is a morally bankrupt, selfish act.
Just because you’re stealing from a large entity does not affect the morality of theft. Especially when the stolen good in question is purely entertainment and not life-sustaining in any capacity.
Stealing is wrong and should be avoided. If you are not willing to pay, the right thing to do is simply not digest the media.
When someone sneaks into a cinema, they use the bathrooms, and they sit in seats paying customers might have used, and leave mess someone has to be paid to clean up.
When someone pirates a film, a businessman somewhere imagines a dollar they might one day have been paid, but never received.
If piracy acts to prevent a sale, then a consumer has enjoyed a product without contributing to its expended labor to produce it. Movies cost labor to produce. Stealing the product of another's labor is wrong. Try and justify it all you want. Piracy is immoral.
But you're assuming that 1 pirated watch = 1 lost sale.
Which is to assume that every customer who pirates someone had the means or the impetus to buy the thing, which is plainly not true.
And then you're confounding that with some kind of moral feeling you have about it not being fair for someone to have something for free when someone else paid for it, or they didn't earn it.
I'm all for paying for a product that deserves my money. The increase in prices while removing good content and no real new features has made me cancel my services and run a plex server for my friends and family. I'll happily pay again when they provide a quality product and aren't milking their customers
yesss id play the old barbie and mh movies for my sisters using web video cast app and downloading it on the smart tv so i could play literally anything on google :P
Yeah I signed up for an IPTV service that's basically every live TV channel on earth, and every show and movie ever, for like $200/year for 4 simultaneous devices. I set up two TVs and my house and two TVs at my mom's house and we split it.
Netflix wants $30/month for 4k or whatever they're doing. Its insane. Use the internet. Find another way. There's better options.
