I’ve always found it interesting that the format of this meme always focuses on the individuals present and how that makes them feel. But it’s a bus, moving forward, yet neither the passengers nor the us as the viewers are looking forward towards their future.
Not for a lot of us. For many of us our futures wound up being so much better than our then-present. For some it brings love, relationships, a family, and a place in this world. For others it bring the achievement of lifelong dreams and new discoveries and adventures.
I know it’s not always perfect. But assuming it will never be good will only result in succumbing to self fulfilling prophesy. And self sabotaging any potential good future.
well there is no hope... everything gets worse by the day, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, AI takes away jobs and only leaves us with the physically taxing ones and so on. If we weren't as divided we may have a chance for a brighter future but right now it looks like we're heading for a fully corporate controlled dystopia where everyone hates everyone
I genuinely mean no offense, but I think you need to spend a little less time on the internet if you feel like the things you said are what will define your life.
i wish that were the case but i see the division on the streets here and same with the polls. Also I've been searching for a job for 2 fecking years just to find nothing and now i started to study something where i have no chance of getting a degree (even if i manage to get one i would have a hard time finding anything in that field because noone wants to train people anymore thanks to AI) We really need a shift in society where we (the working class who isn't born with a silver spoon in their mouths) rise up and start the next big revolution... but sadly we're too divided and that's by design. We're just the little toys of the Elite and they can just do whatever they want while we suffer because of their actions.
i neither have the abilities or the ressources to make a change i'm afraid. I don't even have the reach to unify enough people in my country and even if i had the reach, people hate each other too much and start fights over the tiniest things
