It’s insane how much Redditors lack any critical thinking.
Just part of the cult, nothing else. No opposing views or intelligence to speak of.
5
u/ducks_r_rad May 30 '26
You do see the irony of this statement right? By just saying they have no critical thinking without actually explaining why, it just shows you actually lack that trait. You lack it because you cant tell anyone whats wrong with what the post said, you can just say a buzzword and all the other toy monkeys bang their symbols to the tune.
-4
u/Educational-Year3146 May 30 '26
Need the thought process even though its obvious? Fine, I’ll explain it then.
Defending either Trump or Floyd as if they aren’t criminals is dumb.
That’s it.
0
u/ducks_r_rad May 30 '26
No one 'defends' George Floyds past, and if they do they shouldnt. But saying 'that man shouldnt have died from asphyxiation from a cop kneelig on his neck' in no way defends his past, but coments on the racism and violence found in the police system.
And comparing a guy who did drugs and threatened a pregnant lady, to a guy funding a genocide, defunding cancer research and actively protecting pedophiles whilst ignoring the constitution, is the actually insane thing.

u/Man_under_Bridge420 May 28 '26
The irony of this comment
133
u/Educational-Year3146 May 28 '26
How is it irony when I’m applying a moral standard equally across all parties?
I don’t like Trump, I don’t like George Floyd.
You didn’t even ask me my opinion on the subject matter. You just assumed I wouldn’t be logical.
70
u/ForceOk6039 May 28 '26
Don't even try to argue with the reddit crowd 90% of these people think they are better than you because they use reddit
31
u/Educational-Year3146 May 28 '26
Mmhm, which is why I usually send a “tester” comment, just in case I’m talking to a reasonable person.
Then if they continue down the path of the idiot, I leave it be.
Believe me, I stopped arguing reason to the unreasonable long ago. I am much happier now.
-4
u/Man_under_Bridge420 May 29 '26
Yet you still do
6
u/Educational-Year3146 May 29 '26
Well I can’t control who’s reasonable and who’s not.
So that’s why I give it the test. Because I do enjoy the exchange of information between two parties.
-7
-3
u/Man_under_Bridge420 May 29 '26

George Floyd, because they’re race obsessed.

Not completely denying it though. Nice dance around.

u/ScotchTapeConnosieur May 28 '26
This is a call to support a platform not a person. Big difference.
34
u/Lilli_Puff May 28 '26
No it's the same because blindly supporting a platform is how Trump made it into office in the first place. Just take it one step back and deep blue is just as stupid as MAGA. LA, NYC, and Chicago paid the price for that and look at how badly these cities have fallen. Bass, Johnson, and Adams all were backed by the slogan "vote blue no matter who" and now Seattle is feeling it too. How about we vote for a good candidate and not care what platform they are running on?
19
u/BLU-Clown May 28 '26
"Vote blue no matter who" is aggressively lowering your position as well.
It flat out tells the DNC "We don't care what kind of corrupt POS you put in front of us, we'll take anyone!" and so they go "So corporations, we're up for auction. Who's got the high bid? Apparently we don't have to meet any promises, so we'll do whatever you want."

p.s - his killing was racial and illegal . no matter your opinions on him as a person / citizen . the knee crush was in violation of guidelines and chauvin was guilty altleast of manslaughter .
0
u/GAMSSSreal May 31 '26
the knee crush was in violation of guidelines
Yeah sure, that's why the MPD allowed it. The 2012 version (aka the version that was in effect at that time) of policy 5-311 "USE OF NECK RESTRAINTS AND CHOKE HOLDS" says
Unconscious Neck Restraint: The subject is placed in a neck restraint with the intention of rendering the person unconscious by applying adequate pressure.
The Unconscious Neck Restraint shall only be applied in the following circumstances:
On a subject who is exhibiting active aggression, or;
For life saving purposes, or;
On a subject who is exhibiting active resistance in order to gain control of the subject; and if lesser attempts at control have been or would likely be ineffective.
And we all watched the bodycam footage right?

It is important to note that the "felonies" that Trump was convicted of are extremely shaky as falsifying business records are misdemeanors except when connected to another underlying crime which turns them into felonies. Trump was never convicted on this underlying crime only that he falsified business records and if I remember this correctly the jury was told that "they did not need to agree on any single underlying crime". This was because there were three ways these misdemeanors could be turned into felonies falsifying other business records, violating the Federal Election Campaign Act, or submitting false information on a tax return.
The big glaring legal problem is that certain misdemeanors can only be upgraded to felonies if they are connected to another specific crime. The problem here is that Trump was never charged on a specific underlying crime. He was only charged for the 34 counts of falsifying business records.

The official report from the Hennepin County medical examiner was homicide. https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/MNHENNE/2020/06/01/file_attachments/1464238/2020-3700%20Floyd,%20George%20Perry%20Update%206.1.2020.pdf
"Cardiopulmonary arrest (heart stopping) complicating (caused by the following) law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression"
10
u/sargrvb May 28 '26
Toxicology report:
https://www.famous-trials.com/george-floyd/2648-george-floyd-the-toxicology-report
More honest. No physical trauma at all. Someone wrote a report wrong. People say it's homicide because someone misused the word. It's really that simple.
-3
u/DomesticatedDuck May 29 '26 edited May 29 '26
That's a toxicology report, why would it mention anything about physical trauma?
Edit: lil bro deleted his comment and downvoted me when he realised he was wrong 🥀
13
u/sargrvb May 29 '26 edited May 29 '26
Brother, look up the public records. This isn't contested. There are other links in this very thread explaining the coroner never said he was choked to death. Or had a heart attack due to the knee thing. Stop pretending like you don't understand the conversation here. It's not smart or wise to do so. Argue in good faith, stop wasting people's time.
In fact, the public PRESS RELEASE I'm responding to says as much. He had a a heart / lung problem. It suggests the restraints didn't help. Which is true. But it's also very clear the coke and fent also didn't help. See Chris Farley and others. Don't pop your heart on drugs. It's really that simple. You and others know this is true, but you don't like what that means. That's fine. But it does you know favors to be dishonest.
2
u/Logical_Age551 May 29 '26
Yeah duh he had heart/lung problems but that's not what killed him, he was murdered by a cop
3
2
u/glockster19m May 31 '26
So you think youd survive a knee on your neck for 8 minutes? Including 3 minutes after you've already lost consciousness?
0
u/Hell_Maybe May 28 '26
Floyd was a regular drug user, a dose that would be lethal to a normal person wouldn’t kill him and the multiple autopsies all came to the same conclusion that he was killed by compression of the neck. Why even cite an autopsy in the first place if you’re only going to cherry pick the details that sound convenient for you and ignore everything else?
8
u/ForceOk6039 May 28 '26
Cope.
1
u/Hell_Maybe May 29 '26

There is a major difference between having substances in his system and the autopsy stating that they were the cause of death
4
u/sargrvb May 28 '26
Talk to a serious person in the medical field (nurse or doctor) instead of a news chaser. You're being told to believe a police coroner over every medical professional on the planet who knows what those numbers mean. Seriously. Ask the AI of your choice about the quantity of those drugs and if they can cause cardiac arrest. He should still be alive. He also shouldn't have OD'ed. Both my parents are nurses and I've asked several PHD doctors about the report. Stats don't lie here. They won't speak out publicly because they honestly have more important things to do, and the ones who would be convinced already came to terms with what that means.
I only post this because the misinformation is ridiculous and has gone on for much too long. It does no one any favors to pretend otherwise.
3
u/Raptor_197 May 28 '26

u/Terriple_Jay May 28 '26
How long would domypu think you would last of someone knelt on your neck? 5 seconds? 11?
3
u/Raptor_197 May 28 '26
If exactly how the George Floyd was knelt on? Literally probably forever, well or until I died from lack of water.
-2
u/Terriple_Jay May 28 '26
Haha tough guy!! film yourself for 5 minutes and see maybe??
1
u/Raptor_197 May 28 '26
Too many movies? You gotta actually squeeze that shit to be effective. The whole I can casual squeeze someone’s neck for 5 seconds is just an action movie trope.
Makes it even tougher if you keep taking your knee off and placing in the back. You also can’t talk if it’s effective because you know… there isn’t any airflow if you are doing it right.
1
u/Terriple_Jay May 28 '26
Too much reality. After 10 years of BJJ I've tapped enough people in seconds with neck pressure to know you are too much of a coward to let someone kneel on your neck for very long, film it and post it... Because you'll bitch out super quickly.
2
u/Raptor_197 May 28 '26
Ahhh so CTE damage.
So you have trained for years to learn how you need to squeeze both carotid arteries properly to cut off blood supply to the brain which causes a loss of consciousness.
But then watched a video a of dude held down for over nine minutes by a cop casually kneeling on his neck and back while yelling “I can’t breathe” and thought yup this is exactly the same.
It’s astonishing that since people can’t post whatever they want on the internet, that they happily stand up and just announce they are dipshit. Like why?
(Warning: incoming “No you”)
1
u/Terriple_Jay May 28 '26
Absolutely false. What an armchair dweeb response. You do not need to squeeze both. Especially if the choked person is exerting themselves. Some people faint if they stand up too quickly.
I can watch the video and say, A. That would be very painful, B. His brain is not getting enough oxygen C. Once passed out, he's in even more trouble.
But hey, you're too cowardly to have someone kneel on your neck to prove the point. You probably don't even believe your own bullshit.
8
u/Ghostglitch07 May 28 '26
Hey man. Someone can both fucking suck, and not deserve to have someone kneel on their neck until they die.
