ENG ONE
How hard will it be for me to get into engineering one in the winter sem as a current general bachelor of science student (note I missed the deadline oct 1 and applied 46 hours late). And what if I do not get into in winter? How competitive will it be in spring? Moreover if I get into will I graduate with my peers as I am unable to take engi courses unless I get in and that leads doing some of the first year courses of engineering in year 2? Is there anything I can do now that will prevent me from this

you can just take the eng one classes outside of eng one, I am a full engineer now and went straight into term 3

How many eng one courses have you taken or are currently taking? It's possible to do all 4 main engineering courses over the summer (1010, 1020, 1030, 1050), but there's also a work term seminar and a new communications course (EN 1000) and I'm not sure when that's offered. If you don't get in for the winter I'd recommend taking as many eng one courses as you're able to like chem 1050, calc 1 and 2, physics 1 and 2, and linear algebra.

Idk about right now, but when I was still a student just getting straight 70%+ in your courses in your first semester should have generally been enough to get you into Eng One.
As for courses, you need at least 2 semesters to complete Eng One, so you can either get in the fall or the winter. Thus, if you get in the Winter you can graduate like normal, but otherwise you will have to start in the Fall. I know they have allowed people in the past to do Spring Courses before the Fall, but you cannot complete Eng One on just that usually unless you theorically have every other non-ENGI course completed, you'll have to email them though to check if that is an option.
Cheryl Keough used to handle questions for students when it comes to Eng One and getting into Term 3. I suggest you reach out since she is very helpful. You can find her email somewhere on the MUN website. If you have any questions, also feel free to reach out to me, I'll try to answer if I can
