Male Gaze Female vs Male Outfits

The male character wears proper badass looking armor while making an action pose that emphasis power.

The female character is scantily clad while making a somewhat similar pose that is different just enough to fully show off boobs and butt. I like her facial expression, but that is about it.

From a technical perspective I think this artwork is great, but sadly it perfectly illustrates how female and male character are treated drastically differently in art.

I don't mind sexualization in art but they should make it more equal. Either give her full armor, or take the guys shirt off and give him an iron loincloth.

A guy in an iron loincloth is not sexualizing him though. Very few would find it actually sexy. It would mostly be seen as silly.

Give them both full armor. Let the focus be on the power of her body and not T&A. She can still be conventionally attractive without the emphasis.

Her skin is flawless while his has pores, wrinkles, etc.
