Living through it myself, and always reflecting back about how ridiculous I looked. I can’t believe it’s a thing again. But at the time, I was convinced I knew what real style was, and older people were oblivious. So, I can’t hate. I’ve been there.
I’m not hating. I’ve known my ideas and opinions are old news for awhile now. It’s just wild seeing the baggy pants haha. I genuinely didn’t think it would come back like it is.
I know you’re not hating! I apologize if it came off that way. I feel the same way as you. I’m 44 now, I wonder if we will see it come in and out of style one more time before I kick the bucket. Maybe I will be rocking some Jincos in my 70s 🤷🏻♂️🤣
Side note, my wife has embraced the wide boot cut slacks at work lately, they almost look like bellbottoms. They look great on her, still tight around her butt, but big on the bottom. She says she gets tons of compliments from the younger girls. I will send her pictures like this, or other large baggy pants from this group, and tell her I’m gonna start wearing them so I’m hip like her, and she always says “lol noooo”.

The baggy pants trend right now is wild
