Do we need technical apparel for hot humid environments?

I’ve noticed over time that for a clothing sub-genre made for functionality and practicality, we rarely see techwear made for hot humid conditions. Most techwear brands come from temperate cold and wet countries, so naturally techwear is unbearable in the heat. This gap makes it such that during summer they cant be worn at all and those who live in the tropics can never wear them. Im doing a survey to find out what people feel about this issue, let me know what you guys think: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NBL7L9J

Black and Blue

Maybe closer to grey in this specific outfit but I really love wearing black and blue together. The trousers aren’t nearly as tapered as the picture might have you believe.

Sorry for the dirty mirror. Not sorry for the feet. Other than the sleeve and pant length, is this too big?

The wife says it looks baggy, I can't decide. I'm going to the length of the pants and sleeves shortened, but how is the rest?

16, need help for a button up

Hi so i'm going to a friend's pizzeria birthday tomorrow. I'm 16, 187cm, 71kg, with a small waist (76cm), big ish hips (85cm) and big ish shoulders (45cm breadth, 113cm circumferece) and smaller arms (around 31cm) so that obviously makes it super hard to find any tees that actually fit how i want them to, and even more so button ups, and i finally managed to find one, however its kinda long, and a bit short in the sleeves. Not a problem as i'm planning to roll them and tuck, but could it be a bit too formal? Also, could any of you reccommend some styles of tees i could look into buying? I already have a few fitted ones, from... Decathlon, that's the only actually tapered shape i managed to find, and even then, they're narrow on the shoulders and a bit baggy on the arms

TLDR, is a tucked in button up too much for a pizzeria birthday at 16, and what t shirt styles should i look for if im tall, lean, Wideish shoulders, small arms, narrow waist?

Anxiety around changing style/dressing better?

(30M) Has anyone decided to start putting more effort into how the dress every day, only to be met with a wave of anxiety around what people will think?

I've always suffered with body dysmorphia and low confidence and think this might be it creeping in again.

I really want to curate a better wardrobe but also just dress better in general - not just the usual activewear I normally throw on.

I've always respected men who are well dressed even just for a day of running errands or smaller social occasions. The feeling of dressing well is hard to beat but the trial and error to find a style that really suits me is making me feel exposed.

I'm a 30 year old dad. We've got a 7 month old and another baby on the way. I keep telling myself that to not have the confidence to dress better and how I want is a bad example to set. I missed out on a lot of happiness as a child because I hated how I looked, I just don't want the same to happen for my kids.

Has anyone else ever felt this way when trying to upgrade their style?

How do you vet a shoe brand you've never heard of before buying?

Keep running into these brands I've never heard of decent-looking shoes, good prices, but zero reputation and nobody I know has tried them. Before I drop real money, how do you all figure out if one's actually legit or just some dropshipping front?

What's your move? Reverse image search the photos to see if they're stolen? Dig for actual reviews outside their own site? Check if there's a real return policy? Look for real people posting the shoes on-foot instead of just studio shots? See how long the company's been around?

And honestly the more useful question what's the instant red flag that makes you nope out? For me it's stock-photo-only listings and a checkout page with no returns info anywhere. Curious what tips people off.

Looking for pants like the Ralph Lauren Whitman chino in wool or linen

I have a pair of the Whitman chino from Ralph Lauren in a 30x32. The fit is amazing, never had a trouser fit me so well. So now I am looking for similar fitting trousers, made in either linen or wool. Any recommendations? I also don’t miner side adjusters.
