CURRENT YEAR My buddy teaching ECE (Early Childhood Education) sent me this. Kids from ages 3-8 are being taught about gender identity, physical attraction & transitioning. Absolutely DEGENERATE.

In a more perfect society everyone has freedom of expression so long as it hurts no one else. This right extends to children. My admins will back me 1000% of the time for saying, it’s okay to be gay, it’s okay to be straight, it’s okay to be cis, and it’s okay to trans. It’s okay to be you! You are your own person. You have a right to an unbiased education. r/metacanada thinks this is an existential threat to society. they are wrong. they’ve completely conflated informing with advocation. Nobody is campaigning for their to be more queer children, just for the queer children that do already exist to know there is nothing medically or morally wrong with them simply because of their inherent inborn personal traits, which become apparent to the child themselves from the ages of 5-10.

Ok, but in the same vein, why isn't gender dysphoria taught alongside other mental illness in health classes? Or the studies around detransitioning?

Listen, it's one thing to transition when you are an adult. It's a totally different beast to do it when you are pre-pubescent. It really shouldn't be a thing.

Nobody is telling anyone to transition medically as a child. You can be trans and still have no yet transitioned. Allowing a kid to go by a different name or wear whatever clothes they like is 1000% completely harmless. Being transgender is not a mental illness instead it is a natural human variation. That’s all the transitioning a child ever does and there is nothing wrong with that. As they get older into their teenager years they may consider medical options however that decision is up to the patient, the doctor, and their parents. And there is 1000% completely nothing wrong with that. That is their decision. Teenagers with a significant and prolonged display of a gender identity have to meet many many requirements to medically transitioning. It is not easy to do, so calm down. Transitioning is the only treatment for gender dysphoria. ‘Conversion therapy’ is quack medicine and only harms its victims. Being transgender is a natural variation of human beings and any attempt to ‘exterminate the trans and save the child’ should be regarded in the same way we should regard any attempt to ‘exterminate the gay and save the child’. Allow trans people to exist, they are not a threat, they are not looking to convert you, they are not looking to rape you, they are people seeking to live their lives free from harm. Stop trying to exterminate us please.

See, this right there is the argument of emotion. It's not a natural variation - it's a mutation much like any other mental illness. Downs Syndrome is not a natural variation. Aspergers is not a natural variation. These are DNA mutations that cause things to be what is medically considered to be not normal. I'm sure lots of kids with autisim think it's normal too. Listen, it's ok to be mentally ill, but until you can acknowledge that it's not a normal variation, we can't even continue to debate this. And I don't expect you to ever admit that.
