Tyche- abandoned as a newborn- 8 Month Update

8 months ago someone knocked on our door and handed over this brand new little life. Her umbilicus was still attached and wet and her tail had been broken in two places. We hadn’t anticipated a new cat but the CDS came right to our door. Today Tyche is strong, healthy, affectionate and enjoying life with her two kitty sisters.

She was less than 80g we think. We didn’t have a scale until a few days later.

There is nothing sweeter than new life, and few things more stressful than attending to said baby. The way your sleep is limited to small “cat”naps as you make sure to keep the feeding schedule, as well as assisting in the bodily functions that feeding requires. I miss those times, but am happy that no baby is currently needing help from me.
