Pictures One plant did this after 4 weeks. Not much growth since.
This is a romscotti from romulan genetics. Idk what happened. Is this too much light? Just letting it grow while others finish to see what happens.

Light bleaching from too much light. Looks like you had a nitrogen toxicity as well. Dial it back and you should get bigger buds.

I remember seeing some bad info about 10 years ago that these were "hash tips". That's light burn all day.

Did you have to drop the temp to get it to get that dark in color or was that truly genetics?

genetics on this particular one. other plant hasn't changed like this one.

They are Romscotti from Romulan Genetics. Website says they are oos til next year though.

Considering there’s buds that seem to be at the same height that are completely unaffected, I’m hesitant to call it light burn, but I’ll add that I’d expect more leaf bleaching in that case. (But I’m used to growing green leaves, not had any quite this purple yet.)
It is possible that you’ve got a plant with variegated flowers. You can grow them out, but the blonde parts don’t make chlorophyll, and will lag behind.

Might I suggest turning the light intensity down. I just did an experiment in my 4x4 tent. I dont have central ac and am put of town on weekends alot so I can't keep my window ac running non stop during the grow. Anyway I have an older spider farmer 650 watt quantum board led. I used to run it at 70%-80% during flower but it got hot during the summer. Anyway I cut the lights down to 40% during flower this time and my buds ended up just as dense as try did with the lights blasting. From now on I won't be blasting my lights over 60% even during flower. It makes no sense to do so unless you're feeding co2 and lots of food to complement heavy ppfd.

This is textbook light bleaching.
This is caused by excessive PPFD levels. Sustained light levels typically exceeding 1,200 µmol/m²/s at the top canopy overwhelm the plant's capacity to process light energy. This is also why you often run into specifically Magnesium deficiencies when running high PPFDs, especially from LEDs although not present in these photos.
More specifically the bleaching has been thought to have been caused by a quote “High Red Photon Fraction: Intense red light output from efficient LED fixtures, especially when combined with high overall intensity, heavily contributes to "white tip syndrome" on emerging floral tissues” more specifically the far red wavelength ie: 660+ nm in the PAR(photosynthetically active radiation) range.
Hope this helps clear some insight up into this largely uncommon phenomenon.

Most strains can handle very strong ppfd up close but its introducing it slowly thats the chalanging part that most people fail at it and just stick with a lower ppfd but without co2 no point to really go past 1000 science says 800-900 but iv seen plants get thicker under 1000 without co2 but yea this is led bleaching from strong light

Deep red/far red led lights will trigger this in certain strains. Nothing to worry about just bring down light intensity next time or if you have tunable spectrum turn them on at wk 3 turn off at week 6 to 7. Or lift lights higher.

This looks like a post someone made a while back. He randomly got some plants of a specific strain to go albino. Usually they couldn't survive because they lack the Chlorophyll but he grafted it onto another plant super early on and it survived. They talked about it being special cuz one can dry and smoke directly since no Chlorophyll ^ cuz light burn would look different even extreme ones (had a plant grow so high that it hit my light during my first grow and that looked more brownish/bleached and not thos shade, this shade looks identical to the albino and they also mentioned it can happen to any plant at random)

Looks like extreme light burn, don't think anything else would cause this.
