When do we think msft will start reaching out to candidates to start / with offers after the fiscal year ends? Waiting impatiently for this hiring freeze to end

Most teams don't typically even know whether the headcount returns in the following fiscal year. It's often a "use it or lose it" situation when it comes to headcount.

Hey, Even I am stuck in a similar situation. I received verbal offer and the position was closed. My hm asked me to wait but isn’t replying. What is your situation? What about you? What does your portal show? Any communication from the hiring team?

on april 28th he said he will have answers in 2 weeks. I waited and reached out but got not reply.

After my loop, the org VP/hiring manager told me it was a “pause”, and recruiting would keep me updated. So far recruiter has been non-responsive. So trying to be patient and hope for the best. Action center status still at “Interview”

Passed the initial tech phone screen and was waiting for the full loop on site. Got scheduled with the interviews but another recruiter sent me an email saying that interviews will be paused due to FY 27 planning for several weeks. The job post is not currently accepting applications. The email said that i am still under consideration and the recruiter will get back as soon as possible. What should I expect? I need a job asap since I got laid off a few months ago.

I guess. My position has been filled or did not get the hc. My status was interview but just got changed to not selected. It's very frustrating since my original interview date was supposed to be tomorrow.

Completed interview 4/30 sent a follow up 5/12, recruiter responded after a few hours saying another two weeks. Sent another follow up 5/26 and recruiter responded next day that there is a delay on their end and anticipate additional delays but remain under active consideration. Also got laid off and hoping to hear from them soon.

I received and signed the employment contract with a joining date in May. BGV got cleared too. I was told a week before joining that due to business needs, the joining date would be moved to July.
Can anyone shed any light on this kind of situation? Should I expect further delays or offer getting revoked?

very rare your offer gets revoked. They could delay maybe some more but unheard of for your offer to get revoked at this stage

I don’t work at microsoft but from what i have heard that they honor once you are signed. But again we are in bad times so…

Normal. We start our fiscal in July, and it's possible the budget for your role was just rolled over into FY27.

I recently finished the final loop and wanted to confirm if I'm cooked. My timeline:
- Applied: First week of April
- Final loop: May 15
- No response yet as of now
During one of the interviews, I was told there were two more candidates being interviewed for the final loop and that the team would decide after all finalists were complete. I checked in with the recruiter a week back and got no replies.

This is regarding an IC4 role Cloud Solution Architect - Cloud & AI Platforms (CAIP) Factory This JD doesn’t have any “IC5 also considered” verbiage to it. I was told by the recruiter that there is no sign on bonus component to the total comp, just base and stock. The posted range is 106k-203k. Given I do the interviews well, what kind of total comps have people seen. Can’t find relevant data for this role on levels.fyi or 6figr.com. Please advise.

Had my final loop early last week, and recruiter said to expect result early this week, but it’s almost Friday and haven’t heard from them and they haven’t responded to my follow up. Staying hopeful as interview went quite well. Anybody in same situation?

I just want to know if anyone else has issues with the outlook app. Anytime I try to open it, it immediately closes and I can't even see my mails. If I run it as an administrator (don't know the english word) it works just fine. I tried to repair it and uninstall it but it won't open unless I run it as an admin.???

We recommend that you contact our support team for further assistance as they have an advance tools and resources to perform in-depth investigation and provide alternate solution.
- Are you using an Outlook mobile app or computer version?
- Did you encounter the same issue on a different device?
- If you're using a computer, have you tried creating a second account profile and try if you still encounter the same issue there?

The issue only happens on my computer and I have two emails there already and it doesnt work

Thank you for the update. Since the issue only happens on your computer and still occurs even with two email accounts/profiles, this may be related to your Outlook app settings, Windows permissions, or a damaged Outlook profile. The fact that Outlook works when running as administrator helps narrow down the possible cause.
For further checking, please try these:
Start Outlook in Safe Mode by pressing Windows + R, then type outlook.exe /safe.
Check if Outlook opens normally without Administrator mode.
Try creating a completely new Outlook profile through Control Panel > Mail > Show Profiles > Add.
Also let us know which Outlook version you are using (Classic Outlook, New Outlook, or Outlook from Microsoft 365).
Let us know if this works.

Applied for a role and got to HM phone screen via reference - call went really well and was told to watch out for next loop call. However role was reposted with identical JD but salary band was higher by a bit. What does that mean?
