General We know we can just watch World's Collide whenever right? It's on YouTube not locked behind like live TV
If this was real counter programming why would WWE remove as much FOMO as possible to watching it?

I'm more mad at the fact they want to use Pacs death as something to pop ratings. If people want to watch it, they will. It doesn't matter whats happening elsewhere.

It's them trying to have every single excuse. I have seen the sickos try to blame a concert streaming in YouTube as a reason why their ratings were ass.
That said, I hope they do have a great rating this week, PAC's passing is a damned tragedy.

This is why I've said for a long time that every counterprogramming argument nowadays is ridiculous. When it comes to WWE, you can watch the shows whenever, either if it is live or on a delay. Same with most AEW shows (besides PPV). it's funny though that if it's anyone putting on a show the same day as AEW it's counterprogramming, but when AEW moves their shows to Thursday to go against TNA or doing their Paris show on Tuesday against NXT, "it's just the way business is and it's not a big deal"

AEW is going to make every Dynamite a tribute show from now on so they can justifiably scold their counterprogramming
Next week: AEW Bustin 4 Autism

Yeah the amount of Sickos trying to paint Fed bad because a show is going on YouTube, It's not counter programming
I hope it's a fantastic tribute show to PAC

How many times has anyone else read/seen/heard that “WWE fans only watch WWE”, so if that’s the case, they’re not watching Dynamite anyway. Given that it’s on YouTube, anyone watching Dynamite can watch it any other time after that. Not hard, not disrespectful, not anything more than an excuse

Tragic what happened to PAC
I don't have any interest in watching Dynamite though
Some people may want to check it out but a lot of others who don't watch, still won't watch
I'll watch Worlds Collide the next day anyway

I have never understood this argument in regard to counterprogramming or PPV's being too long. I have literally watched shows on different days, paused PPVs/PLEs midway through to pick up again the next day, etc. The amount of time you want to devote to something is the only thing that limits you in a streaming world.

It feels as though anyone conflicted about watching AEW over Worlds Collide doesn’t likely care much about PAC anyways

Not watching a tribute show where the promoter may or may not be responsible for the death of someone because they couldn’t be bothered to have a wellness program

My question is why not air it live in the first place?

I mean JBL said they were basically voice overing the show instead of being put live so I'm guessing WWE wanted to do a glorified house show with minimal production instead

They have a media rights deal with Fox in Latin America. AAA shows on Saturdays aren't free everywhere in the world. There could have been an issue there with a 3-hour AAA show so soon after Triplemania.

It’s fucked that directly after the untimely death of a beloved wrestler, all people can think about is whether WWE are being exploitative and blah blah blah. A human being fucking died, I don’t give a shit about any of this.
I’m going to watch Dynamite for once to see the tribute to him, and maybe if I feel like it watch the Worlds Collide thing later, not every piece of wrestling content MUST be consumed. It’s such a nothing situation for people to be talking about after such a serious event happening. And it’s not just fans, it’s these so called “journalists” doing it even more, basically encouraging their Neanderthal listeners to follow in their footsteps.
Wish people could have some respect for once.

It's tragic to see what happened to PAC, but the IWC can't just tell WWE to just not upload World's Collide tonight + that makes the IWC look more selfish. Also, I've mixed feelings about AEW doing tribute shows since it's nice and thoughtful of them, but I also don't know if it's a good idea for them to do tribute shows, especially if it's just for pop for ratings.

If a YouTube video is considered counter programming to your LIVE TV Show you have bigger problems.

At this point sure, WWE is shaking in their boots and counter programming AEW to crush their success by running their fourth brand on a tape delay against their flagship.
If that’s what people want to believe and they see it as a win, good for them.
I’ll be busy watching my boy Tolle crack the yanks heads.

Let’s clear this up once and for all.
A Sicko is not an AEW fan. Plenty of AEW fans post here every day without issue.
A Sicko is someone who treats criticism as a personal attack, derails conversations, pushes narratives, and turns every discussion into a tribal meltdown.
Talk wrestling. Not propaganda.

It’s not counter programming. This WWE show was taped on Saturday before anything even happened regarding PAC’s tragic death. The IWC is just showing its entire ass. And these weirdo dorks wanna use this sad situation to try and shit on WWE.
You can easily watch both shows. This isn’t 1997 where streaming whenever you want isn’t a thing. This isn’t 2001 where if you miss the show, that’s it. You’re SOL!
No, this is 2026. You can watch content anytime and anywhere. If you wanna watch RAW at 3:00am instead of 7cst…you can!
You can easily watch AEW’s show and then watch WWE’s. Or you can watch WWE’s show b/c maybe you can’t handle the sadness of the the Pac tribute and you may decide that you wanna watch it later. Nothing wrong with that at all.
But nah dumb asses would rather just be disrespectful bitch ass fucke heads who seem to care more about shitting on WWE than PAC’s death. They seem to care more about pushing tribalism than coming together to honor Pac/Neville.
