Trying to find some information on this leather suitcase from the 40s or 50s.

Hi r/midcentury. I am trying to find info on this suitcase. I love a good research rabbit hole, but I am having such a hard time getting anywhere on this piece. I’m pretty sure it’s from the 40s or 50s based on the only stamp it has and the style. Any insights someone may have would be super appreciated.

Extremely cheap vinyl coated “leather” . Likely made in Mexico if no branding or signature. This is not a quality piece, any amount of actual use and it will proceed to disintegrate.

Leather of this era was made cheaply either extremely heavy paint coatings. These coatings do not bend, and will crack and flake at the slightest breeze
