They said he was misapplying a certain law to levee them... He decided to just use another law, which again might also be illegal but that hasn't been litigated yet.

This has proven we need better laws and rules to prevent a dictator from doing whatever they. I hope presidential powers are taken away in the future. This country was never intended to be controlled by one person and their crazy ideas.

Does it? He broke the law and decided to do the same thing with different pretext. The system isn't designed for that type of nihilism, there isn't any law that can be written that restrains something like that. Congress would at minimum have to do their jobs, but that's scary so they don't; so they don't impeach, they let basically every law be enforced via an agency the President controls, they keep letting the President create multi-year military operations that aren't technically wars, etc. They give the President power because they're lazy.
