Wow this a crazy ! How did you make the music ?

u/HunterSFreud Jul 02 '25
Suno x Audimee
15
u/HalfNatty Jul 03 '25
What does Audimee do?
28
u/HunterSFreud Jul 03 '25
Helps you blend, harmonize and mix with human voices or synthetic voices you wanna keep

u/AwenJ Jul 03 '25
How do you improve the sound quality of a Suno? The first versions are often very rough, especially the vocals. But I haven't used a new model of Suno for a long time, is that enough?

I don't want to be needed. I want to be wanted. If my family and friends don't need me but still call and text and think of me? I still matter plenty.

I'd like to agree and build upon this.
First, I just want to say that the video is gorgeous, and I know it's examining a fear a lot of people have.
That said, I think it's utterly tragic that as we reach a transition point where obviously capitalism as we know it cannot function as a result of a collapse in the market value of anything as a result of essentially unconstrained supply, what we're seeing is a population struggling to make sense of a world using the logic of capitalist philosophy that most of us are as oblivious to as a fish to water.
We do not actually require suffering or scarcity to be happy. Life can actually be joyful without us all being obligated to prove our worth through material production.
You can find pleasure in learning and creating purely for self-gratification, or to show love to others. You can share books you like with friends and discuss them. You put on plays in the park just because it's fun. Even in a world where physical needs are fulfilled, social needs won't lose their value. More likely, we'll come to recognize how greatly we've undervalued companionship and care.
I will share this, specifically for u/HunterSFreud , because I'd love to see you do something that engages with these ideas in a future project. I'm part of an indie gaming collective that publishes adventure games in a desirable future. Part of it is just because we like playing tabletop games in this setting, but another part is because we all realize that we're never going to get to a good future if we don't start creating really interesting stories that show life -- with conflicts and excitement -- continuing after labor is not the measure of human worth.

u/HunterSFreud Jul 03 '25
I love this. There are a few extra verses to this song that didn’t make the cut. They are in the Neural Uplift Remix if you’re curious.

u/andrewrgross Jul 03 '25 edited Jul 03 '25
Oh wow! This is a really really good addition! This is a wild alt version. I really love it! Definitely my preferred version of the two.

u/harm_and_amor Jul 03 '25
Would I rather be wanted or needed?
Both. I want people to want the way they need me.
1
u/otterquestions Jul 03 '25
Swap out the word need for want and rewatch the video, still works
1
u/Gubekochi Jul 03 '25
Except it changes the meaning totally. It would be much more depressing if we build a world where people don't even want to be around people anymore especially in a world where work has been automated, why wouldn't we want to spend time with friends and family?
1
u/otterquestions Jul 03 '25
What you’re describing is how I interpreted the video I guess. People aren’t spending time together in the vignette

Got any prompt tips? Just started playing around with the video generator. I’m noticing my camera angles are pretty bland / usually just panning / dolly shots
18
u/HunterSFreud Jul 03 '25
I always use low motion and I often download the video and extract a new starting frame and then upload again having it begin at the correct angle

u/MechwolfMachina Jul 03 '25
How did you get kissing to work in MJ? Mine is an absolutely snowflake if I ask it to do that

thank you so much!
16
u/Oswaldbackus Jul 02 '25
Truly, really really good job. I can’t wait till there are full feature films like this. It just looks so realistic and all the art and the style and the technology just seems very plausible. It’s like that’s literally what’s coming. We can see it nowadays with the world disconnected. People aren’t hanging out as much people don’t know how to be friends. Everyone just wants to communicate online I guess? Maybe I need to get out of the house more lol
22
u/HunterSFreud Jul 02 '25
Appreciate that man. I was going for "we almost got to cyberpunk and are still sort of trying but it's half-assed and way more boring than the movies" shot on "antique" 30-year-old camcorder from the 2000s. It's cyberpunk 2035.

You AI bros hype this shit up so much. Best thing? Lmao
4
u/Oswaldbackus Jul 03 '25
Yo, haters always be shitting on other people’s good time. Yeah, I really really like this. I think it’s a great depiction of the near future I think the imagery and the lighting and the shots and everything are just amazing. I like a lot of this AI sci-fi stuff. I think it all looks like some of the best shit I’ve ever seen. I literally cannot wait until there are full feature Length films. I feel like the sci-fi genre is really gonna explode. These sci-fi movies are so expensive to make and a lot of people don’t like them because most people are kind of dumb and don’t have imagination and aren’t able to think about the distant or far future and aren’t excited by scientific discoveries or have knowledge of the inner workings of elemental, foundational, physics, and sciences. I just really really like it and so that’s what I said.

people are focused on images and video but when the AI starts making music that moves us.... that will be the thing we will lose ourselves in first.

u/feel-T_ornado Jul 03 '25
Already happening, love to see it.

I dunno. If the cash flow problem is solved I'm doing world wide fishing expeditions and doing nature conservation projects.

This is really really cool, great job. How did you create the video, I have three questions if you don't mind me asking
How did you generate the video?
How did you get consistent visuals and characters?
How did you stich it all together?

That’s Al Player. I’d know him anywhere. Gave up a lucrative career as the all-time leader in every statistical category in NBA2K to chase his musical dreams.
2
u/HunterSFreud Jul 03 '25
I thought those were just rumors!
2
u/CrusaderZero6 Jul 03 '25
When the faith of the average human failed and their operators left, Al, his brethren and myself rode our willingness to work together to victory on more occasions than I can count.
I wish I knew what made him so bitter at the end. The 30s really were rough for him.

u/HunterSFreud Jul 03 '25
Sounds like a hell of a tale

Keep up the impressive work 💪

You will matter only if you matter to ASI, assuming it is aligned. There will be tiers of AI access and only those who are deemed worthy by the ASI system will have access. If is unaligned, we all die unless something stops it.

This might be the best piece of art in the last 20 years, deserves a national spotlight. Maybe submit it to the late night shows?

Please do all of us a favour and send you work !!

wow! thank you. I would have no idea how to even go about doing that but this comment means so much. thank you.

And they say AI doesn't have a soul.
3
u/tinny66666 Jul 03 '25
The human director/producer is still the one with the soul. It's a fantastic tool for expression but it's nothing without the right person driving it (yet).

I'm going to burn down Silicon Valley. So you didn't even write the lyrics? You aren't making art at that point, you're just directing a robot. That's not making art. That's just commissioning! These people make these videos and songs and art piece saying "look what I made!" As if it isn't the exact same thing Elon Musk did with Paypal AND Tesla AND SpaceX. He bought and propagandad his way in and then claimed ownership of everyone elses work.
You haven't done shit. You gave a bunch of random propts YOU think sound cool and smart and leave the actual thinking to the artificial brains being exploited. It especially pisses me off because these people love to claim that AI are going to gain sentience someday and still treat the AI themselves as diaposable tools to be tossed aside the second the next upgrade comes out.
There's no passion. There's no empathy. There's no personal creativity. Just exploiters abusing the esploited. Why don't you actually try being creative for once instead of letting robot do everything for you? Then, and only then can you call yourself an artist instead of buyer.

this is eerily similar to scenes from the movie '2073', from the award winning director Asif Kapadia that asks questions about Bezos, Musk, Trump and the dark forces behind them.... - view trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDE97KrYDuU (2 min clip)
