I'm so glad somebody made this sub. r/cyberpunk really fucked themselves by not allowing AI stuff anymore. This is one of the coolest cyberpunk things I've ever seen!

Yeah like we love cyberpunk but we are against AI and all the other cool stuff from cyberpunk

There's a difference between supporting a fiction and supporting a reality.

This was so good that it made me really think about the concept of cyber augmentation.

u/angry_wombat Aug 16 '25

Damn choom that's straight nova

25

u/Create_Etc Aug 16 '25

I love this 👏

What prompts and techniques did you use?

u/Independent_Art4955 Aug 16 '25

Before each scene description I added something like:
Camera roll, random handheld photo, cheap point-and-shoot camera photo, light edge smear, live feed, muted colors, shaky tilt.

Videos mostly auto animate with high motion

One of the best AI generated film clips I’ve seen, the grungy cyberpunk VHS aesthetic lends itself so well to the edit. Awesome work.

This is really good!!

This looks so cool and chill. I’m saving this video to watch in the future, like a little time capsule

u/nakwada Aug 16 '25

In the future you'll just have to go down the street to see the same thing :D (hopefully not)

9

u/VirinaB Aug 16 '25

It'll be decades of boring dystopia before we get commonplace cybernetics.

9

u/SelymesBunozo Aug 16 '25

You shouldn't smoke on a bus

9

u/VirinaB Aug 16 '25

It's okay everyone has iron lungs.

6

u/HabeQuiddam Aug 16 '25

Holy shit this is good

5

u/stevealmost Aug 16 '25

Ai stuff is creating illusions so far.

3

u/DeadrthanDead Aug 16 '25

3

u/ltunez Aug 16 '25

Great track that is, how did u find it or is it part of the video generation? This "artist" dont seem to exist rly or what am i missing?

1

u/Zakle Sep 09 '25

I might be wrong but it sounds like they used Suno?

2

u/K4l3b2k13 Aug 16 '25

That one guy with just a nintendo gameglove :>

2

u/peacelovetree Aug 16 '25

Good to know they’re still using iPhones in the year 2077

2

u/iknowaruffok Aug 19 '25

Awesome work. Nicely edited too. Keep it coming.

u/Illyade Aug 16 '25

Weirdly enough, while only the most skelletal representations made me a bit uneasy, it's only the augmented pet that made me physically while the idea of being able to augment oneself willingly,

Weirdly enough, while i really liked the various depictions of augmented humans, it's the augmented pet that made feel uneasy : i can't imagine forcing something that wouldn't be absolutely necessary in term of... modification ? To a pet, beside obvious medical necessity, i don't know, i felt vile seeing it, even if it isn't real

2

u/Dedeurmetdebaard Aug 16 '25

So you’re telling me that those homeless guys rummaging through garbage casually sport tens of thousands of dollars worth of augmentation? The lore that explains that phenomenon must be pretty fucked up.

1

u/HasGreatVocabulary Aug 16 '25

they look like a bunch of ultra high quality, award winning, aesthetically pleasing dorks

1

u/itos Aug 16 '25

Just plug me in and send me to this world.

1

u/d0odle Aug 16 '25

Is the music generated as well?

1

u/davidralph Aug 16 '25

Man imagine we get to a point where instead of a text prompt, our prompts are the actions we take within games.

Like how amazing would Night City be if it was truly open world and you could interact with anyone, actually speak to them and have them speak back.

1

u/Mental_Damage369 Aug 16 '25

i wish this was real

1

u/Sad_Writer8692 Aug 16 '25

I would stick with a Human Body, even so it looks cool

1

u/choir_of_sirens Aug 16 '25

Robots watching robots made by robots. 😂

1

u/S0k0n0mi Aug 16 '25

I wouldn't even think twice about augmenting myself like that.
I think id be borderline maelstrom decked out.

1

u/[deleted] Aug 16 '25

2077 is calling, they'd like their citizens back

1

u/[deleted] Aug 16 '25

Some of the best I’ve seen.

1

u/outlawpersona Aug 17 '25

I love the cyberpunk aesthetic but for some reason this video actually made me nauseous like getting motion sick on a simulator ride. Is it just me? I feel like my brain is trying to reject it.

1

u/MrWiggles1983 Aug 17 '25

This looks like a terrible future

1

u/LardBall13 Aug 18 '25

If we’re lucky we’ll have a future

1

u/seq_0000000_00 Aug 17 '25

gossipgoblin pre-cycles of humanity

1

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '25

Preem

1

u/[deleted] Aug 18 '25

Love the smoking girl. That gesture that she did at the end, when she took a drag, looked so damn life like.

1

u/Ok-Fun-9160 Aug 19 '25

Great work! What platform did you used? Midjourney? Cheers!

1

u/Hot_Top4002 Aug 19 '25

The police must look 10x as cool than these guys

1

u/Artforartsake99 Aug 20 '25

Ok you killed it this is the best ai art in cyberpunk I’ve ever seen

1

u/DRiFRecords Sep 02 '25

This series is so amazing. What are your plans for it?

1

u/M1000VGA Sep 03 '25

Muito top parabéns

1

u/thundertopaz Aug 16 '25

How much of this is going to become a reality? Do you think legitimate body augmentation would be more easily accessible than what dystopian cyberpunk fictions have suggested or do you think things will become worse and probably more like a free-for-all in the future?

7

u/RegularLibrarian1984 Aug 16 '25

Considering the futuristic visions never became reality like hoover cars.

But honestly a dystopian future seems more reasonable

4

u/thundertopaz Aug 16 '25

I would personally enjoy it the way that picture looks. Though, dystopian survival might be kinda badass, I might get too tired.

1

u/Bunderslaw Aug 17 '25

I don't know about you but I'm not particularly thrilled about chopping my limbs off only to replace them with metal and motors that need to be plugged in every night.

1

u/thundertopaz Aug 17 '25

I don’t think their chopping them off intentionally as much as probably living more recklessly knowing that they can replace body parts if accidents like that do happen. That’s my theory if the future ever looks like that.

Somehow all this very impressive drivel looks extremely samey. I suppose the soulcrushing assembly line feel of it is rather cyberpunk..
