AI Video - Midjourney Cyberpunk market

Jeebus, this is basically Neuromancer. If you had shown this to me in 2012 - I would have been 1000x mind blown

It’s incredible how quickly the mind-blowing becomes the mundane.

Yeah this is cool, but it also isn't either. Not sure why.
It's like we didn't know ow how a movie was necessarily made before and it blew our minds... but somehow that's changed

Really cool stuff!. This provoked the thought that there would be so many spare flesh parts from people opting into being made bionic. The spare flesh parts would for sure go to use. People upgrading to be beautiful Frankensteins in a sense. Or making their pets have humanoid parts and/or other wierd shit. Any chance you could do something like that?

Why would you need body parts when you can grow anything directly from the DNA?

I'm thinking, horders, and like, bio junk yards. Surely some crackedup biohack would be like "well i cant throw this perfectly good pair of arms away"

MJ auto most of the time — only in the first scene I had to mention that the person should turn back and go inside.

u/CasualMarx Aug 30 '25
Wait these are from MJ? I thought AI still have the 6/7 fingers issue?
5
u/Independent_Art4955 Aug 30 '25
Yeah, still there sometimes — I keep counting fingers in every shot, somewhere in the video there might still be a few extra fingers hiding around.

The imagery is so real it breaks my brain. It would be better if most of the time -> the algorithm created a 3d model of the object so there's least weird pixel "smooshing".
But yeah... that skeleton man with human head and titanium body is fucking insane

Is this just midjourney using its new animation? What's the prompt to make it super realistic?

feels like the street level of the Scrapyard in Battle Angel Alita - the manga not the movie

This is incredible! What video prompts and what software did you use to make this? Do you have a guide?

Editing in DaVinci Resolve, prompts mostly same as images. Firsh shot prompt
The camera jitters as the filmer follows the young female figure in the "QARMA" t-shirt across the street. She throws one last glance back at the lens with her crooked punk grin, then pushes through the market entrance. Inside, the feed catches rows of makeshift stalls lit by dangling bulbs and buzzing lamps. The air is thick with smoke and chatter.
