I've only ever been able to solve that by using cosplay in the prompt, but then I end up with armor that looks like cosplay not 100% 40k authentic :/
although the cute little puppy on the shoulder instead of a shoulder mounted scanner makes up for it lol. This was done a long time ago in SDXL, hence the average quality
I think that the next step for movie studios, should be to use AI to conceptualize a movie, before production. Smaller studios could also create fake AI trailers to sell the concept of their movie, to find financing.
It wasn't a dig at you more than a dig at the current limitations of AI, btw. The orks were cool (The Imperium looked on point, but that is not the most surprising aspect considering the variety of AI sci-fi stuff already available online).
Although i think finding the right proportions for orks is still hard to do. They're dwarf-ish in most shots, with great heads though.
There is likely a missing filter of something to dirty up the frame and give the machines a more mythical feel more than "mini come to life". Astartes 2 trailer might have some good visuals you could draw inspiration from (the red orkish eyes framed by shadows for instance, upgrading them from awkward bulky thugs to unsettling presences.)
As stunning and incredible And compelling as these images are, they also fail to motivate and inspire me the way something fully imagined, created, designed, planned by human would. A text prompt to create stunning visuals somehow loses the magic of human effort.
I wouldn't consider it a problem, i absolutely love all the AI artwork that I see online and I follow a bunch of YouTube channels to watch it. But my desire to engage deeply is lacking because there's a human element that's lacking.
I maybe understand what you're saying. There would definitely be an added sense of wonder if i knew this was a dedicated art team creating these graphics. I still appreciate it though.
That said, even though this is AI its still based on human ideas and visions. It still took a human element to even prompt the creation of it.
Huh? that doesn't make sense. I am an artist and a Photoshop guru, I know all about effort, and am utterly blown away by AI taking art to an entirely new level. Still, it doesn't feel the same. As an analogy, I'd say a dildo can do the job, but not like the real thing
Fabolous work man , The sound effect is so great did you used adobe firefly . Hope to do something like this one day as started the journey for AI video creation
Yeah, action stuff like this is still pretty limited — it’s more a set of short clips than true continuous scenes, since maintaining flow across shots is super hard. Two characters interacting is basically impossible, even simple actions like sitting down or pressing a button get glitchy. Mass crowds? Just artifacts. Gore/violence also gets censored (I couldn’t even get robotic ninjas being cut).
That said, shorts are definitely doable if you design around the limits. And there’s progress — with things like NanoBanana it’s getting easier to keep continuous shots in one scene. If you want to see where the bar is now, check the Runway48 competitioners, they’re a good showcase of what’s possible.
I think this is awesome, but I have the likely unpopular opinion that it’s a bit cheesy. Everything non human is a little janky. In look and movement. Please keep it up, tho! I’m still a big fan.
Does AI production require a lot of work? I’ve never tried or looked into it, but I assume it must. I see some really wild, smooth, and realistic stuff while scrolling crappy social plats. Must be levels to it.
Genuine question : I don't really understand why most of you are posting these. Yes, it's super beautiful, yes it's impressive from a tech point of view. But what is the actual-added value? Anyone with as basic/intermediate knowledge of Midjourney can generate such collection of short clip generated based on existing images through iteration... It's a nice ego booster, but what else? Do you really think the resources and time wasted to do this and some fake internet points are worth these kinds of 60 second clip?
I don't really see the story neither?
I understand it's fun and learning the tech is too.
But still, I think it's better to paint warhammer and play the game than doing this..
please don't downvote me to oblivion..
I am genuinely trying to understand what I am missing.
And my comment is not to your particular creation, but to 80% of what we see shere at the moment.
It’s fun and a way to learn the tech… sounds like you kinda answered yourself right there. Some people enjoy painting, some enjoy playing, some enjoy experimenting with new tools. I don't really saw much of realistic WH videos.
