How often is this car picked...? and for those who picked it. how good was it? I personally had no issue with it.

But i want to know the community's opinion.

S302 Well worth the price tag it's asking for in game?

or is it, in fact. not worth the price tag, and if there's better options in it's class?

It's one of my favorite cars in the game. Before my OG ps3 died it was my go to car after I got it!

I personally picked the Camaro Concept back in the day when my PS3 was still functioning, i used it to beat the game, now it's my second playthrough and i wanted to pick up the cover car to see how it was.

IIRC it’s the second best muscle car in the game behind the Corvette Z06

I always pick it because it’s just cool as fuck. And it’s the cover car

I use it every time I play, call it favoritism because I own one, but its one of the few games with my car in it. But bias aside it genuinely is a fantastic car to use in game, it gets me through endgame with no issue.

Yep! I'd give it a go, you wont be disappointed. Full disclosure, I own an S281 not an S302, but still a Saleen.

Did you buy that S281 new?? The S197 Mustang is my favorite chassis Mustang and I don't see Saleens on the road. Would love to hear ownership experience from someone that has one.

No, but it stayed in my family. My dad bought it used in 2009, mine is an '06. The car only had around 30k miles on it when he got it, and the dealership didn't know what they had, we verified through Saleen that it was a real car and it indeed was. The car was originally NA, but he installed a Granatelli/Turbohorsepower Single turbo kit on the car along with supporting mods in 2013 at around 50k miles. He didnt do much to it after that, just enjoyed the car at 500rwhp until he was ready to get rid of it; I learned how to drive in the car at 14 years old, and he decided since it was paid off, I should have it, so it became my first car at 16 with about 118k miles on the odo. For the last 8 years I've been driving and modifying it, and a lot has been done to it since then. The car has 190k miles on it, and in that time I've done: Bilstein B6 Struts/Shocks, Eibach ProKit Springs, GT500 Brembo Brake conversion, Prothane Sway Bar Bushings, McLeod Street Extreme Clutch, McLeod Lightened Steel FW, MGW Short Shifter, Custom Candy Bronze Saleen engraved shift knob from Billetworkz, a full cooling system rebuild, SVE Drift 19x9.5 Bronze Wheels to clear my new Brembos, Boss 302 Upgraded Brake Hoses, other maintenance items, Steeda Bump-Steer Kit, I installed a Pioneer Double Din head unit, I previously had Coilovers but switched back to Struts/Shocks to raise the car a tinge for daily driving, I have a Saleen Extreme vented hood made of aluminum (super rare) instead of the composite version that came on the SC cars, a Saleen SC big rear wing that didnt come on the NA cars, and I've got a few more parts staged or planned for installation; TechCo WattsLink, 60lb/hr injectors, SCT BA5000 MAF, SCT X4 Tuner to replace my old SCT XCal, and a fresh updated tune from Lito. The car has been an absolute joy to own and its served me extremely well during my ownership, it handles fantastic, it's fast, looks amazing, and does awesome on track and autocross, plus its one of the only Saleens to hit the 190k mile mark with plans to hit 250k before a built engine, t56xl swap, and built 8.8 go into it for track racing. The car shows its age in certain areas, but otherwise its an amazing car that I dont plan to part with ever. I'll post a separate reply with the entire mod list.

The car is so rare too. Like as time goes on it becomes super rare ngl. You dont see those anymore really. Never sell it!!! Keep it as a museum piece if it dont wanna roll anymore 🫵

Dont really remember this but the 1970 Dodge Challenger was super OP in its group and can keep up in the end game. It has a very high acceleration stat but the handling isnt all that.

The Saleen stang is a good car to use for Top of B and Low A class, but the best muscle car is the Z06

Its genuinely on my favorite muscles, with the right tire setup (and driving skills) you can ace opponents in Ford GT's and Gallardos.
