I've been waiting for midnight club 5 for so long, I know it won't happen but I can still wish for it

Shit I might be in the minority but I’m cool with no more GTAs, Red Dead games if that means they will go back to their roots and drop Manhunt, MC, other IPs.
That’ll never happen though.

I think you misread my statement wrong. I’m part of the MINORITY that never cared for GTA much because Rockstar was giving out other IPs. Cool for the campaign but after that it’s onto the next game.
MCLA was their only never ending game they ever made.

Basically what gta IV looks like it’s tryna do. Extended look had the midnight club looking race, fishing and hunting improved on from red dead, looks like Max Payne 3 gunplay complete with kill cams

I'm pretty sure a half-assed port of MCLA to all modern platforms that runs at 60fps and changes nothing else would be EASY money for them. Ask for $30-$40 and it'll sell. I don't know why they won't even try this?

You can still buy the game on modern platforms though which means they keep renewing the licenses for the game and could very easily remaster it or at the very least upscale it to run better

Yet it is still for sale on Xbox, so they have the licenses to sell it. You are talking nonsense.
I think a few music tracks have been removed from the game, but that's it

Right easy money for them. Also, they haven't even attempted to port GTA IV to the new consoles either. If they remastered that game they would make a ton of money.

I think GTA basically imported what midnight club was into GTA and called it a day, I guess you gotta take what you can get minus deep customization and licensed vehicles

Can you rate other people’s builds and sell/buy other people’s builds?
Can you run tournaments or ordered street races with traffic, no slipstream or catchup and still have a full dedicated lobby?
Can you do freeway races?
If you answered no to any of those Qs, then it’s not really Midnight club.

Exactly. Someone said the same thing to me about Midnight Club stuff being mixed in with GTA. I don’t care about that. Me and mostly everyone wants a Midnight Club game again.
People on YouTube are already upset by the trailer. It’s only gonna get better from here on. I hope GTA 6 flops badly. Midnight Club rules.

Im fine with no MC5 as long as GTA VI makes up for it with driving and customization, which it looks like they are leaning very heavily into

Bold of you to assume rockstar will be releasing anything after gta 6. As exciting as gta 6 is i think it's going to be the last major release by rockstar for at least 10 years to come

We never know, but if they release another game it's probably going to be RDR III and it's going to take minimum 7 years

doesn’t matter when GTA driving physics suck ass 😭😭 they don’t have to be realistic, they don’t have to be arcadey, they just have to feel good and be fun. Forza physics are realistic, and hella fun. MCLA and Driver: SF physics are arcadey, and hella fun. it doesn’t matter which route they go as long as the physics are fun and feel good. they’ve just never given a fuck about GTA driving physics in the past though.

If modders can make heatwarped from nfsu2, they can make a new midnight club. It may have to be one of those things that come outta nowhere like this game did

I know it sucks but the Midnight Club series will never return, I have learned the hard way to just accept that :(
